We we're picked up from a cruise by a lady called summer. Taken to the kayaking area lac cai beautiful area on the way summer stopped the car to see the pink flamingoes in their natural habit. Great day out kayaking and snorkeling amongest the mangroves. Water and snack provided. Summer was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable about Bonaire.

Mangroves are one of Bonaire’s most important ecosystems. We can arrange a pick-up and drop-off in at the cruise ship terminal with a maximum of 15 persons. If you need a pick-up from the cruise terminal, our pick-up place is in front of the restaurant "At Sea" a 90 meter walk from the South Pier and 350 meter from the North Pier. Time 8:20 local time. Cruise terminal, in front of the restaurant At Sea at 8:20

Highly recommend this tour. Our kayak guide was wonderful (don't remember her name, but she is the beautiful Dutch woman). The experience was amazing. Snorkeling through the mangroves was an experience that we won't soon forget.

I saw sloths!

Be prepared for wet weather. It’s not only possible but likely. Our tour guide was wonderful! He saw sloths in a tree on a highway and had the bus driver pull over safely and let us out of the bus to take photos and videos! He carried a laser pointer which was very helpful when he wanted us to look in a certain area and he was very focused on us seeing as much as possible!

The kayaking part was cool - on the bay and through the mangroves. Glass bottom seemed pointless. The snorkelling part was disappointing. It was in the mangroves instead of out in the beautiful blue bay. Didn't see any interesting fish at all, and that's the part I was most looking forward to).

This was a fantastic experience, kayaking and snorkelling in the Mangroves. Anna was an excellent, knowledgeable guide. Kayaking and learning about the mangroves was a great experience and the snorkelling was very good with many fish to explore.

What an amazing experience! Tour guides were extremely friendly, funny and knowledgeable and the kayaking is like nothing we’d ever done before. Everybody visiting Bonaire needs a trip with Youri and his team to explore the islands best kept secret.

Beautiful area and incredibly unique experience. The guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable and funny guy who made the trip enjoyable. The snorkeling is optional and it would be worth it without, but worth doing if you're a solid swimmer and OK navigating waters where you can't touch the bottom

A Beautiful tour through the mangroves. Went with my husband and 6 year old son in one kayak. explored the beautiful branch structures while paddling in the bright blue waters of Bonaire. We saw a turtle and even helped rescue a baby flamingo. The guides were so knowledgeable and helpful. would absolutely recommend!! suitable for all ages.

Note road to beach is not paved, we took a taxi and he said he would not take a fare there again, consider renting a 4x4 vehicle, bumpy ride, not recommended for those who get car sick. Kayaking was fun but definitely took a lot of effort and was a work out! Sights were breath taking, learned a lot about mangroves and Bonaire. It was fun paddling through the tunnels, unique experience. Snorkeling was towards the end of kayaking tour through the mangroves and visibility depended on the day. Plan to stay after the tour to spend time at the beach which is short walk past the restaurants - it’s breath taking, clear water, sandy, no rocks, shallow, warm water, bring a floatie, pack a cooler, I wish I had spent more time there after paying for the taxi ride.

We has a fantastic time with our guide exploring the mangroves of Bonaire, and learned a lot about the history of the area and the importance that mangroves play. What really made it exceptional had nothing to do with the mangroves, but rather the efforts of the staff to retrieve a waterproof camera that became untethered after being strapped to my wife's wrist. It happened in a mangrove channel with a particularly strong amount of churn and current, so visibility was very low. Our guide dove repeatedly up and down the channel in search of it to no avail and I was unsuccessful too. He said that he would notify the afternoon tour and that the churn in that particular area was lower later in the day. Sure enough, we received a message on Whatsapp later that day that they had found it. They even were kind enough to coordinate dropping it off the next morning at our hotel. Being it was our wedding anniversary the day of the tour, the camera contained memories that we are so thankful to have with the retrieval of the camera. The staff went above and beyond in their efforts and it really speaks to the quality of those who work there. So, yes, do the tour for sure and enjoy the mangroves, and double check your camera straps!

We had a wonderful time kayaking through the mangroves. We drove to the meeting point down a muddy dirt road not sure we were in the correct spot until we arrived. When the guide says END of the road, they mean it! But they were there, on time and ready to show us a good day. It is important to point out that to do this activity, you must be physically able to swim/snorkel and paddle against wind and currents. Overall, a unique and fun experience.

This is a tour run by locals. It was rough and rugged and you will be expected to do some grunt work lifting kayaks and such. The snorkelling was not your traditional coral, but rather took place in mangrove tunnels, which were murky, but pretty cool. You will need to get in and out of your kayak in 4-5 ft of water. Despite all of that, it was informative and enjoyable and I would recommend it if you are looking for something different from the commercial and ordinary.

Guide was very helpful,, knowledgeable, and fun. He easily accommodated my physical limitations and made the trip quite enjoyable The kayak thru the mangroves and then snorkel an area in the mangroves. Kinda cool snorkeling thru the mangrove caves. Viability was better in some places than others. Totally recommend ❤️ thank you guys for making this a cool trip

This was a great tour. It was a unique experience to kayak through the mangroves and then snorkel there as well. We saw many beautiful colors of sponges (orange, purple, yellow, orange and blue) and many fish as well and even some upside down jellyfish. They are harmless and we could even touch them. On the kayak to and from the mangroves we saw sea turtles too. Yourri, the guide provided basic snorkel equipment. We had a fruit punch drink and stoopwaffle snack at the end. It was a no frills trip but well worth it!! You even get a little exercise with all of the paddling.
