- ATTENTION!!!!! The Cave Tour is a Physical Tour that Requires Good Mobility & Health. Guests must be able to Duck, Bend, Crouch, and Step-up with ease.
- Wheelchair accessible
- Bonaire Caves are in their natural state and do not have paved paths or safety barricades. Your guide will lead and assist you as needed, but please note you must be aware at all times. Caves are naturally hot, humid and the air in sections can be dense. People with breathing restrictions should not attempt this tour. One cave entrance has a ladder and another, a rock decent where your guide will assist if needed.
- Age Requirement: 8+
- Near public transportation
- The Guide has full discretion during the tour to alter the experience for his/her group based on physical ability or cave conditions. Your safety is our priority. Please have closed shoes and NOT flip flop.
- We want you to feel at home and comfortable on our island and recommend you bring the following for this tour:
- 1.Sun Protection: Sunscreen, Sunglasses
- Infant seats available
- 2. Extra Water
- 3. Dress Comfortably for hot, humid conditions- Active-wear recommended
- 4. Camera (of course!)
- 5. Wear swimwear if you'd like to fully explore the wet cave
- 6. Closed-Toen shoes, Comfortable Shoes are Required
- 7. Hat (if you have one)
- Before the Tour:
- Travelers should have a strong physical fitness level
- Hotel or apartment guests: For the meeting, please meet your guide at the reception, and if you are staying at an apartment; your driver will be at the address you provided on the booking. Your guide will arrive at your pick-up location 15 minutes before the start of your tour to pick you up. We will notify you if there are any changes.
- Cruise Ship guests: Your guide will welcome you with your first name or last name on a sign in front of the cruise ship exit/enter gate where your ship is docked. As you walk away from your ship, you will be approaching a security checkpoint gate. When you exit the gate, walk straight forward, and look straight ahead. Your guide will be there 15 minutes before the start of your tour to collect you. Please Note: If your tour starts at 08:30, your guide will pick you up 15 minutes (08:15) before the start time of your tour.
- Very IMPORTANT: If you don't see your guide with your name, please stay at the gate of your ship and do not walk away and look for your guide, let your guide look for you.
- We GUARANTEE to have you BACK TO THE SHIP 1 hour before the ship departure time.
- This is a small group guided tour of up to 7 people per vehicle. You will be in a shared van, car, or pick-up depending on the number of guests.
- Our prices include a 6% government tax.
- Our goal is for you to leave the Island happier than when you arrived.

Wow! This was on a whole new level of awesome! The caves were amazing and each one distinctive and original. Swimming in a gave 60 feel underground was an experience I'm glad I didn't miss!

The tour guide Arturo was amazing. This company charged me twice the amount because I was a solo traveler. I was the only other person on the tour. I will not be using their services again. If they are able to refund the extra amount and charge me a fair price I may reconsider.

This was an experience of a lifetime! We booked through Viator for one of our cruise excursions. The company was very accommodating with our ships later arrival time and adjusted our tour start time. Messaging through the aviator app was so easy and convenient for this!
Our guides Arturo and Salix were so fantastic! My children ages 14, 12 and 8 loved the entire experience! When my mother-in-law got nervous and didn’t feel comfortable with the 2nd and 3rd caves, one of the guides took her and my Father-in-law on a little guided tour of the area and they so appreciated that! Super accommodating! That being said, if you struggle with bifocals and depth perception, this may not be the excursion for you. You should also be steady/confident on your feet and have decent upper arm/hand strength, especially for the 3rd cave. I recommend wearing a water shoe or waterproof hiking shoe. Wear a swim suit for the last cave. You’re able to leave belongings in the guides van during each cave. Vans were very nice, A/C and trustworthy! 10/10 recommend and hope to do again!

We had a great time climbing in, through and out of the caves. Arturo did an excellent job showing us the way, being informative while keeping us safe. Swimming in the last cave was a highlight of the day.

Fantastic.Very special opportunity to be guided through an incredible trio of caves.
You must be physically agile or this might not be for you . If you are, you’re in for a great experience. Sturdy footwear is a must. Sneakers or better, no sandals. 3rd cave was the most challenging but the reward was worth it. Bring water shoes to switch into for the third cave . You are in for a treat. We had Arturo as our guide. Excellent!

Mar is a great guide. The caves are in their natural condition so no walking paths. Having said that, Mar told us where to put our feet to get to the bottom of the cave and back up. Incredible experience for those who are fit. If you have physical disabilities this is not the tour for you.
I wish the tour operator would have put in the description to bring a towel and wear clothes that can get wet but that’s no reflection on our actual guide.

Oscar made the tour special he has so much knowledge about the island and its caves. He was on time picking us up and gave us a great safety briefing for entering and exiting the caves . He led the way on the snorkel part. This was more than just snorkeling in a pond you get to go thru a flooded cave. Safely. Best afternoon on the island

We have gone spelunking in caves in many spots in the USA and the Caribbean, so wanted to see what Bonaire had to offer. It ended up just being my wife and I for our time slot, so it made for a nice, personalized experience. Our guide was part of the family that runs the company, and he was very informative on the caves and on Bonaire in general. He was very knowledgeable, safety conscious and patient as he explained the best ways to enter and exit the caves. All three caves were interesting, with the last one containing an underwater fresh water cavern that was really cool. It takes a bit to climb down to, but well worth the trip. Overall, something interesting to experience when on Bonaire considering there are over 300 caves here with lots of island history, and definitely recommend using this company for the tour!

Mar was an amazing tour guide. Picked us up at the ship terminal without name on a sign. Private tour for the 5 of us. The caves themselves were amazing! As other reviewers have said, these are not like caves in Northern US… No stairs, lights, and handrails. You have to climb down and up a ladder and hold onto a rope to help you walk down/up rocks to get into and out of the cave. A few places you have to crawl through areas to get to the other side. Very hot and humid. Only have headlamps and flashlights. Our family was 42, 40, 13, 9, and 7. We all LOVED every second… even when we were a bit wary this was all of our absolute favorite stop on a 2 week cruise! 5+ stars and would recommend to anyone in decent physical health to book! And again Mar did an absolute amazing job. Very knowledgeable about the caves, helpful, and patient with my 3 girls. He also provided snorkel equipment and soda/water.

Mar was our private tour guide and he was AWESOME! he picked us up at port and was in his private vehicle. He drove us to first cave and we stopped off side of road and walked to it. You climb down ladder to get in 1st one( I forgot to change into my Keens so I was in flip flops- do not recommend that but I managed). 2nd cave was easier to go in and was marked. Last one was the one we swam in. It was awesome! You do need to be fit to do this tour but it was awesome! Mar was great and very knowledgeable about all of the caves. Would do it again (with proper shoes)

What a fun experience. Our guide was so patient with us and catered to the tour fit our needs. The snorkeling in the last cave was a highlight! It gets extremely hot in the first cave so keep that in mind when booking. All in all a great time!

Our tour guide Marr was great! He showed up on time to take us on the tour. We climbed into three caves. Marr explained the history of the island and the caves. He was very knowledgeable and helpful while you climb down into the cave. In the last cave you get to swim in clear cool water.
The tour was a ton of fun but you do need to be physically able to climb. This isnt a tourist cave with paved walk ways and hand rails. They are actual caves, hot, dark with rocks you have to climb.
That being said I would take this tour again!

Was a great tour. Did 3 caves and swam in a crystal clear rainwater inside the last cave. Very humid, Mar gave us some history on Bonaire and how it came to be above sea level.

Wonderful experience! So happy to have picked this particular tour and it was great to have a personalized experience with Ephraim! He briefed me on the headgear flashlight and he eagerly answered all of my questions about cave bats, limestone, and the island in general. We visited three separate caves and each one was unique and exciting. Though out of condition, the cave ascending and descending wasn't too difficult but Ephraim was safety conscious and brought a rope as an extra precaution. He was patient and showed me where and how to place my footholds and handholds. The crystal clear pool at the bottom of the final cave was amazing. A definite bucket list experience!

Bucket list experience with Ephraim was amazing! I'm so happy that I chose this tour and I was lucky enough to have personalized tour! Ephraim briefed me on the headgear flashlight and we talked about bats and stallactites before setting out. We visited 3 separate caves and each one was unique and exciting. Ephraim was enthusiastic and answered my unending questions about each cave as well as the island in general. Though in less than perfect shape, Ephraim showed me how to ascend and descend into each cavern. It wasn't too hard and finding the unbelievably clear, fresh pool at the bottom of the last cave was great!

Kom al jaren op Bonaire maar nog nooit in de grotten geweest. Het was geweldig. Je moet wel lenig zijn en een goede conditie hebben om deze tour te kunnen doen.
