We did this tour during our anniversary trip to Maui and it absolutely exceeded every expectation. From the moment Shawn picked us up, it was clear we were in great hands. He was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the island, sharing Hawaiian history, pointing out native plants and wildlife, and making the whole group feel like old friends by the end of the day. The limo-van was incredibly comfortable, and the small group size made it feel personal rather than touristy. We stopped at stunning spots along the way, the lush rainforest, cascading waterfalls, and the black sand beach were all breathtaking. Shawn knew exactly when to give us time to explore and when to keep things moving, so the day never felt rushed or slow. The food was delicious too, and it was such a relief to just sit back and enjoy the famous 617 curves without worrying about the driving ourselves. Dell was so phenomenal. Super patient. Answered a ton of questions. But more than anything else, his driving was safe. That is the greatest aspect of the package. The road to Hana can be tricky if you drive yourself, but having Dell probably saved my marriage since it spared us from dealing with no signal, a rental, finding locations and parking, traffic, places to eat…etc

You have to do this trip. The black sand beach was beautiful. We got to see sea turtles and a seal on the north shore. Banana bread at the stand we stopped at was so delicious. We got to cuddle with cows at one of the stops. We saw water falls and a beach where the lava hit the sea. Kobi our driver was amazing! So funny and helpful. Definitely kept us entertained.
