Amazing - absolutely book it!

My adventure began when Nicholas picked me up at my hotel. He was so kind and had a great sense of humors, putting me at easy right away as a solo traveler. When we got to the park he took us to the ticket booth and helped us get acclimated with directions. The tour itself was unreal. Being so close to lions was an experience I never thought I’d have. Our guide Masan, was full of interesting facts, funny anecdotes and gave each of us the very best experience. He took pictures for me and helped create memories I’ll have for ever. I loved this experience and wish everyone had the opportunity to go.

Visiting wild animals

The organization and communication with the tour operator were excellent. The pickup and drop-off from the hotel in Pretoria went smoothly; they even notified us of a slight delay that morning. As announced, we had to pay an additional 500 rand at the park entrance. The guide didn’t say much about the animals or the park, but he made an effort to show us all the animals we wanted to see. One downside was that all seats on the open-top tour bus were taken, including the seat next to the driver, which offers a less-than-ideal view and which no one wanted to switch to voluntarily, even after stops. There were plenty of opportunities to use the restrooms. Lunch was okay, and we were able to observe more animals in the park while eating. There were plenty of opportunities to use the restrooms. One day Pilanesberg Safari

This was the safari we ever took and we couldn’t be more pleased. Alex was our driver to and from the park. He was extra accommodating. He even let us off at the mall on our way back and waited to take us to the hotel. Martin was our safari guide and he was extremely knowledgeable. We saw lions, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, elephants, a rare cheetah and many more in just one day. He knew where to go to find the animals. I highly recommend this tour. You won’t be disappointed.

Great experience, fantastic Guides! Definitely recommend! I recommend take the first bus if you also want to do the soweto trip. I took the 12:20 bus at rosebank and took no food stops just did the soweto trip and the day was finished. Took the last bus at 16:30. But if your plan is just sightseeing then Definitely go for it!!!!!!

Perfect Safari Experience for First Timers and the Cautious

The Lion and Safari Park was the perfect experience for us, especially given that my girlfriend has a real phobia of animals. This was a great way to ease into it without feeling overwhelmed. From the start, everything was well organized. Our driver picked us up and gave us an outstanding overview on the way, setting the tone for the day. Once we arrived, our guide took over and did an excellent job. Knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire experience comfortable and enjoyable. We were able to see a wide range of animals in a controlled, safe environment, which made all the difference. It gave us the opportunity to experience the wildlife without the intensity of a full safari. For me, it was a great introduction and definitely confirmed that I will be back for a full safari experience next time I’m in South Africa. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a well run, informative, and accessible wildlife experience.

Wow. Wow. Wow. Can I give more than 5 stars?! 💯 recommend!!!!! There was some mix up with the tour & Solly was determined to make it happen. I told him I was fine if it didn’t work out but he wouldn’t hear of it. I ended up having the most tremendous private tour!!! Didi was most fabulous tour guide: witty, informative & super sweet. My driver was on time, hip & a go getter. I appreciated his easy going professionalism. Solly’s company is top-notch! Well Worth The Time....Do It!!!

This is a whirlwind of a 2 day safari, but it is a great way to see Kruger and experience a safari in a short window of time. The team at Mbombela Tours is amazing and customer-focused. I had some issues with the transportation from JNB Airport to Nelspruit, but the constant communication channel from the activity provider representative was much appreciated. The team made sure we were always comfortable and satisfied with the experience. We saw many animals on the 2 safari drives....the full day is very long but well worth the time getting back and forth to Kruger. We were celebrating a 60th Birthday Wish to do a safari and the tour company came through with flying colors!!!

Awesome Kruger park safari

This tour was very well organized..great for travel with kids. Our driver Rudzani was very friendly and professional and shared a lot of information with us during the long drive between Johannesburg and Kruger park, pointing out many sites along the way. Great job Rudzani!!! The guide was very knowledgeable and led us to see a wide variety of animals in the park. The lodge Tembo guest lodge was very clean, spacious and nicely decorated with a full kitchen in the family room. The staff was very kind and courteous. All in all it was a great experience. The tour company was very communicative, providing updates along the way. I will highly recommend Africa Mojo tours and safari.
