A lifetime memory

What an amazing day! Prompt pick up, quick stop to see how pineapples grow, then a 10minute fun long boat ride to the beautiful Laem Sala beach. The climb to the temple was quite steep and quite challenging for 2 60 year old Australians, but very doable with lots of stops. We had water and aeroguard which were essential. If we were to do it again we would take an electrolyte solution for the water as the humidity and perspiration were significant. Despite the toil to the top and then down again to the cave itself it was absolutely worth doing and would absolutely do again!! This was a once in a lifetime visit and would highly recommend. The way back was easier, and after stopping for a cold drink and a paddle at the beach we took the longboat back. Lunch was tasty and generous. The bus trip back was smooth with a driver who was good and felt safe! We were dropped back at our hotel 6 hours after leaving as promised! I am so glad we did this!!! You need a moderate level of fitness and adequate hydration and insect repellant but it was inforgettable!

An absolute highlight – with a few tips for the climb!

I was with my wife and our child in Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park and we had an all-around great day. Arrival: We booked a taxi the day before opposite the Hilton Hotel in Hua Hin. The driver was super nice, punctual, and brought us there and back safely. Admission & boat: The tickets cost approx. 200 baht per person. This includes a short boat tour. In this heat, the boat is highly recommended, as the actual climb comes only afterwards and the walk would be very strenuous. The climb: It took us about 30 minutes to get up to the famous cave. Because of the intense heat, the descent into the cave, and the way back, you really need to be fit and wear sturdy footwear. Conclusion: It is 100% worth it! The sight of the cave with the temple in the magical sunlight is simply breathtaking. It is great fun with children who are good walkers. However, you should be a bit careful, as there are no railings in some places. Clear recommendation for all Hua Hin vacationers!

A full experience.

This is a full day From Hua hin. But a very good one. Our guide Mr Tong Chai (Mr Pao) was wonderful. We not only learnt about the bridge and the railway but also he pointed out Farnsworth and showed us different foods and plants along the way. Our driver Mr Ruing was fabulous. Smooth and efficient. Definitely worth it.

One of the best...

One of the best experiences I ever had hands down. To be fair we were told that today was a very lucky day. We saw up to 15 elephants in total at least, two or three of which were babies. Also many gaurs and some interesting birds. We were told that the day before us they were less lucky, only seeing two elephants in total at the last minute. So do keep in mind that you are spotting wildlife and you might not be lucky. All the negative reviews here seem to be mostly people complaining about being unlucky, but if luck is on your side it is truly fascinating to see all of these fantastic wild animals. The tour guide was also incredibly friendly and enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. And the food was also very good. All in all a fantastic day, way above my expectations. I would highly recommend this activity.

Absolutely top-notch

Absolutely recommended. We were initially concerned because of our poor English skills. But everything worked out great. From the pickup at the hotel to the walk through the local market to the cooking and the meal together. Even if we didn't understand everything, we had a huge amount of fun and can highly recommend the cooking class to everyone. Thanks to the whole team for the great hours. It was a culinary journey.

Make sure you have plenty...

This tour is amazing. It’s fun, informative and super cool!!. The guide spoke excellent English and also taught us some useful Thai phrases. Make sure you have plenty of room for food. The food is fantastic!! Oh, and take a rain jacket. The tuk tuk is incredible (think go-cart but only 3 wheels and a driver)and the best way to get around but is not exactly weather proof, and there is a lot of walking too. The street vibe, colour, smells and noise are intoxicating. We would recommend this tour to everyone. Loved it!!

Great small group tour!

Wonderful experience! Our tour group was nice and small, 3 couples and we were all from Canada which was great! Worra, our guide was excellent. Very informative! The time spent at each location was good and our stop for lunch on the way back to the hotel was delicious. We are vegetarian - they had prepared some lovely dishes with tofu! The cave was the main reason I wanted to check this out and it did not disappoint.

Me and my wife did a cooking class today, we had chosen menu 2 with papaya salad, chicken cashew, red curry with pork tenderloin and mango sticky rice. Everything worked perfectly around the organization and it was very interesting with very good dishes as a result. Highly recommended.
