Phetchaburi is one of Thailand's oldest cities and is known for the most famous palace is the Summer Palace of King Rama 5 on Khao Wang Hill which entire grounds consist of royal halls, palaces, temples and other buildings elegantly built in a balanced Thai, neoclassical Western and Chinese architectural style. Great DayExploring.

Pick up was prompt from the hotel. Naree, our guide, was very informative, easy to understand and a joy to be around. The summer palace was interesting, especially the scenery around it. The stop at Wat Mahathat was good and we were able to make offerings. The icing on the cake was Khao Luang Cave! Lunch, following, was really tasty. The people in our group really made the day special!!

Cooking school!

Tour of the market a great way to start the experience. The cooking school was a well oiled machine...but more like a dance where the items were prepped just enough and ready for us to slice and dice and cook. Then we would leave the prep area and head to our table to dine on the 1st course as they cleaned and prepped and then set out the next items and cookware for us . It was all seemless. Oooh la la, the master chef was thorough and entertaining. The food was delicious and plentiful. Highly recc.

Must be able to walk up and down steep rocky hills

If you go between October to December it is very likely the boat won’t be operating due to rough seas but the 3hr roundtrip walk (steep rocky hills up and down) was worth it seeing the temple in the cave which only has directly sunlight on it between 10:30am - 12:30pm. (Only between Oct and December) Must be fit to be able to access this tour even if the boat was operating. The pineapple plantation is just an area on side of the road showing you where pineapples are grown.

We particularly liked the fact it was a private tour so we were able to go at our own pace and had plenty of time to ask our guide, Naree, lots of questions about the particular areas of interest to us. Amazing day trip to Kui Buri

Absolutely amazing! We understood there was a chance of seeing no elephants but knew we would have loved this whole experience anyways. Luckily, we saw 3 elephants from far away though! And so many gaur and their babies. The scenery was beautiful. The whole trip was seamless. Easy, on-time pickup, our guide was very knowledgeable and sweet, safe driver, and since it was just us in a private 4x4 national park vehicle we were able to take our time at each of the stops to really take it all in. Our guide (I’m so sorry, I can’t remember her name) got amazing photos of my partner and I that we will cherish! This was part of our 10-year anniversary trip and we couldn't have had a better way to spend this big day! The place we stopped to get food afterwards was DELICIOUS!! We ate it all, haha All in all, an absolute must to add on to your visit to Hua Hin. Even if you don’t get the chance to see elephants there are other animals and a beautiful drive through this stunning part of Thailand to enjoy.

Great tour, tough hike, stunning views!

This tour was fantastic! The hike was hard, harder than expected but the payoff was worth it! The cave is beautiful and the pavilion is absolutely stunning. The tour guide has thought of everything. For example you need good shoes to hike in but you will get your feet wet when you enter and exit the boat. The guide has you covered by making sure you know where the foot washing stations and benches are. Little details like that make the trip seamless. Lunch was delicious and the portions were large. We had coconut fried prawns, sweet & sour chicken, cashew pork, and stir fried vegetables. If you’re vegetarian… again the guide has you covered with a special meal. Last point: the van was really nice! Super clean inside and comfy seats with good air conditioning. The driver was good too, not in a crazy hurry like some tours we’ve taken. If you’re thinking about going, this is the right tour to pick!
