Our group of six was visiting Guatemala for the first time, and they made our arrival to Antigua absolutely seamless! They were early, greeted us with a sign, communicated throughout the process, and were incredibly kind and professional. They even stopped for us to try local beers and patiently waited over an hour while we shopped. Because the experience was so great, our group decided to use them for the rest of our trip. This tour was an excellent way to experience two very different sides of Guatemala in a single day. Hobbitenango offered spectacular mountain views, creative Hobbit-themed attractions, and a peaceful atmosphere high above Antigua. Even if you’re not a fan of The Lord of the Rings, the scenery alone makes the visit worthwhile, with panoramic views of the surrounding volcanoes and valleys. Afterward, we explored the beautiful colonial city of Antigua, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walking its cobblestone streets, visiting historic churches and plazas, and learning about the city’s fascinating history made for a wonderful contrast to the morning in the mountains. Antigua’s well-preserved Spanish colonial architecture and relaxed atmosphere make it one of the most beautiful cities in Central America. Our guide was knowledgeable, organized, and enthusiastic, sharing interesting historical and cultural insights throughout the day while keeping the tour running smoothly. Transportation was comfortable, and there was enough free time to explore, take photos, browse local shops, and enjoy lunch. Overall, this was a well-organized tour that combined stunning scenery, unique attractions, and Guatemala’s rich colonial heritage into one memorable experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to make the most of a day outside Guatemala City.

Our driver Marlon picked us up from the airport and expertly navigated the traffic on the way to Pana. The van was comfortable, Marlon spoke great English, and he stopped at a restaurant along the way so we could have a delicious lunch. Would definitely book again!
