Pamela was fantastic! I had some vague ideas what I would like to see and she made a great plan for my short 4 hour tour. I absolutely loved seeing the City of the Dead. Getting to see archeology in practice is such a great experience. I plan to come back at some point and would be happy to hire her again to delve deeper.

Fernando was my guide, and he did a great job! He really likes Guatemala City, and he would go above and beyond to make the customer like the tour. He asked me what I wanted to do, and we did exactly what I asked to. His English is not perfect, but it doesn’t impact the quality because he still manages to explain everything very well!

The guide Esteban was exceptional, took us everywhere, listened to our wishes, knew english perfectly (which we learned is a rarity in Guatenala) and the best of all he was exceptinally knowledgeable about attractions in the city. VERY BIG recommendations for this!

Esteban was amazing! He’s super knowledgeable about the Mayan culture. It was a last minute tour before I went home. He picked me up and helped me with my bags on pick up and drop off at the airport. This is a great option to view the city!

I booked this Guatemala City tour at the last minute during a long layover, and it ended up being exactly what I needed. Esteban arrived early, communicated clearly, and made the whole experience feel seamless from the start. With only four hours to explore, I wasn’t sure how much I could realistically see, but he immediately put me at ease with how organized and intentional he was. What I appreciated most was his knowledge. He didn’t just talk through the sites—we went into the history, the cultural context, and the stories behind different neighborhoods and landmarks. It never felt overwhelming, just informative in a way that helped me understand the city beyond the surface. He moved at a steady, comfortable pace, and I never felt rushed even though we covered a lot of ground. For something I booked so last minute, this tour exceeded every expectation. I walked away feeling like I had genuinely experienced Guatemala City rather than just filling time between flights. Reliable & Totally Worth Every Penny!

It took me 45 minutes from my scheduled pick up to meet my driver and yet he was right outside the exit door waiting for me holding a sign with my name. Esteban was polite, friendly, very informative and took me on a two hour tour of Guatemala City before we headed to Antigua. He was a wealth of knowledge as we went by some of the monuments and key landmarks and made the two hours fly by. The car was comfortable and Esteban was the perfect driver - safe and attentive. Totally worth every penny to have this type of private experience. (In fact I have two more days with Esteban I am so happy)!

Esteban was a great guide and spoke English fluently. He took us to quite a few areas of the city that we hadn't been to before, including the market where he and his wife would do some of their shopping. The fresh fruit that we purchased in the market was delicious. The high light for me on this excursion was a visit to Guatemala Relief map where you can see an accurate recreation of the whole country.

Nice, friendly driver/guide who took us to Antigua with a little free time before the class to stop at the most charming Starbucks that incorporates local decor and culture. The cooking venue was rustic with nice local flavor. Friendly staff that took great care working with my mom’s dietary restrictions (no seeds or nuts). Fun hands on preparation of a delicious menu. All in all a great day that I highly recommend.

Had a really great experience! Our guide Pamella was top notch - friendly, fun and very knowledgeable. We saw and learned a lot and had fun I. The process. I’d definitely do another tour with her next trip here. Couldn’t recommend it more highly for someone wanting to get to know the city and so Etching about local history and culture. Pamella asked what we wanted to do and arranged the tour to best fit our goals. She would have changed things if we had asked for a gastronomy or bar tour for instance. Really good tour!

Fantasic detailed tour of Antigua Guatemala. Esteban was terrific at providing details that were interesting to our group. we learned so much about Guatemala and its culture. I can honestly say that we did not see even one thing that was not interesting, and I have done LOTS of tours in Latin America. We did the tour in Spanish but he also speaks great English. Took the twelve hour personal tour from Guatemala City. This tour was worth every penny. Esteban was my guide, and he was very efficient with his time. Great tour, but pricey for what we did

Our tour guide was awesome. He took us to everything we wanted to see in Guatemala city and did a great job of telling us about the culture and the people. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was because of the pricing. I was charged the same price for 6 hours as I would have been charged for 12. It's unclear in the description. In hindsight, I would have taken a quick tour in Guatemala City, and gone straight to Antigua and had them do a tour there too. (Antigua is only an hour away, so you can easily ask to do both with this tour).

Highly recommend the private tours. It is a great way to tour the country. It was stress free and there were many parts of the city we would not have seen otherwise. We loved having a guide. Esteban was very knowledgeable and took us to great parts of the city. It was totally worth it!

WOW. What an absolutely incredible experience. Would easily book over and over again. We decided to pay more to do the 12 hour option and went to lake Atitlan and iximche. Esteban knew all the places to go, handled all the tickets, knew the answer to all our questions, and was just generally pleasant to be around. He took us to gorgeous view points and was happy to help getting pictures of us. We told him what we wanted to do and he made it happen. The restaurant he took us to was spectacular. He’s also a great driver which was a relief for how much time we spent in the car!!

Esteban is a phenomenal guide and was able to take me on a full tour of Guatemala City. We were able to hit all the sights on my wishlist, except a couple that were closed due to the holidays. The highlight for me was the final stop at Kaminaljuyu which didn't come up in my research. Such a good adventure and Esteban is so kind and engaging that it felt like a couple of friends exploring the city.

Amazing!! I had a wonderful tour with Esteban who was kind enough to take me to a few contemporary art galleries on my list before showing me the rest of the city sights.
