Really convenient with a lot of locations to stop at. Not every bus had a live guide, but you should definitely aim for a bus with one! The pre-recorded info is still good, but the guide we had was awesome and made the experience more special.

Top marks all round! 👍
Excellent! Comprehensive tour, great buses and drivers. 10/10
The tour lasts over 1hr 40m and has around 24 stops. Buses alternate between live guide and pre-recorded commentary (headphones supplied), both of which were superb.

Love the Red Bus
The bus was great and it gave good views of the city. The live tour guide on our trip was a dud but with a good live tour guide it would be great!

Fantastic Tour, Not to be Missed
We had an incredible tour of Glasgow with Michael. He promptly picked us up from our hotel, and from the start, his passion for Glasgow’s history was contagious. He shared a remarkable wealth of knowledge throughout the day, making it a truly unique experience. Michael took us to far more places than we could have covered on our own in a single rainy day, and he was very flexible, happily letting us spend extra time exploring Kelvingrove Art Gallery when we wanted to. He made a reservation for us at a place that serves delicious, authentic Scottish food.
As introverts, we were a little concerned that a private tour might feel tiring, but it was quite the opposite. Michael is warm, friendly, and easy to talk to, and even our teenagers were engaged the whole time. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a better tour.

Exceptional Experience!!!!
We had Natalie!!! Oh my gosh! WOW!! Our cruise had to cancel Edinburgh because of weather. So we had to stay at the port by Glasgow. When we told Natalie she was upset for us that we would not get to see Edinburgh. SHE DROVE US ALMIST 2 HOURS EACH WAY SO WE COULD EXPERIENCE EDINBURGH!!!!!! That is EXCELLENCE!!!!! We will NEVER forget what she did for us. Natalie if your reading this. We Love & Appreciate the memories you allowed us to have! Forever Greatful! Jack from Texas

Great day trip from...
Great day trip from Edinburgh. Scott met us at the rail station and led us through the city in an informative and relaxed tour. He was great at showing us historical and cultural ( murals were beautiful ) points of interest. He also shared spots to get a great meal, which we did take his advice for a delicious lunch at an Italian restaurant.

Glasgow hop on hop off
It covers important stops, such as the Cathedral and necropolis. The narration was clear and concise regarding which stops were next and what sights to see.

Best way to get a feel for the city
On and off was easy and convenient. We were on three different busses and two had guides who were fun and knowledgeable. The third one had recorded guidance in many languages.
