What are people saying about Galveston

Interesting & engaging tour experience!
This was a wonderful experience! We had a lovely two-hour tour of the city with Philip, the owner of the company and lifelong Galveston resident. Philip is clearly proud of his city and very knowledgeable about same. We cycled all over the central part of Galveston and journeyed down to the seawall. Got a lively history lesson as well as some restaurant recommendations. :-) A fun way to familiarize yourself with the city--highly recommend!

Big shout out to Captain...
Big shout out to Captain Z and Lucio! Lucio was so funny and knowledgeable. The tour was basically a little spooky history lesson but on a boat! It was really neat to learn things about Galveston! This was my husband’s & my second ghost tour— we’ve done the cemetery one a month prior. We’ve learned new things each time. My seating recommendation is to sit in the area behind the captain! I feel like that side did get the better views. They did turn around to show the other side but the lighting was better on the captain’s side for sure! Either way you won’t miss out! So much fun!

Saw an incredible amount of Dolphins!
Our Ship Captain Trent was the Best! We saw the most Dolphins we’ve ever seen in the Gulf on this tour! He knew right where to go in the Bay o watch the babies with their moms and gave us some interesting and informative stories on our tour. Loved watching him allow the kids to come up and help drive the boat and honk the horn on the way back… lots of smiles! We had our dog along and there were no issues— it was so much fun! This is the 3rd time we’ve taken this tour and this one was by far the best!

Great
Great tour guides !! Very very knowledgeable about the history that comes with the beautiful home, which makes it feel more personal when walking through the rooms. My mom and I enjoyed our experience & will be back to tour the other mansions! We went early on Sunday so there wasn’t many people touring the house yet, while we were walking out there was a lot more people coming in so I would recommend getting there early if you want it to feel more personal and quite. Also recommend bringing ear phones for the audio tour! (:

Though some people assume Texas' favorite vacay hot spot is all about the beaches and fun in the sun, these Galveston tours can help you unlock some of the city's historical intrigue, which was once a bustling immigration port considered the “Ellis Island of the South.” Take a spooky tour to learn of the ghosts that are rumored to haunt the island, a century after the US' most deadly natural disaster, or learn about the history of Juneteenth, which all started right here in Galveston.
