What are people saying about Ducati Museum (Museo Ducati)

Disappointed Ducati museum was closed
If you booked the holiday around the advertised trips you could be disappointed. We booked the holiday around getting to the Ducati museum, which was closed a few weeks before the planned holiday. Whilst this put a dampener on things, the tour guide was great and I would recommend booking with this provider. We will be back, however, we will make out own arrangements to get to Ducati and the personal museums of Ferrari and Lamborghini.

Highlight of my trip
As an owner of a Ducati the factory and museum tour was excellent. A must see for any motorcycle enthusiast. The Lamborghini factory tour was also good and the museum very good. Ferrari seem to have the best set up for tourists, very commercial. Giancarlo our guide was excellent and would highly recommend using his business. Also excellent lunch, lots of pasta and some lovely local Lambrusco.

Delightful day
Rickey was a great driver and shared interesting facts as he drove. Saw some beautiful cars way out of our price range.

Look no further, The is the Tour you have to do
Look no further, This is the Tour you have to do and what a day. After being collected on time by our driver in a spotless Mercedes van with spent the next 8 hours having the most enjoyable day.
Giancarlo and his drivers take you on the most wonderful experience to Ferrari, Lamborghini & Ducati, with lunch.
The first stop of the day and for mine the highlight was the personalised tour around the Lamborghini assembly line, this is so cool, our guide took her time and explained everything associated from Ordering, procurement, assembly & delivery. Just standing there and watching someones Revuelto being assembled 1m away and then straight over your shoulder the tech's are assembling the V12's is just mind blowing. And as you would expect, the place is spotless. Here unlike most tours you have to ask where the merchandise shop is, petty laid back.
Next up was Ferrari, here we skip the line again and have an hour at the Museum, we were the mid morning and it was quite crowded, tip is take your time as it's a lot smaller than you would expect. No factory access.
Then a short drive to Lunch at a small winery, superb offering.
Finally its off the buzzing Ducati Factory, here you are taking on a guided tour of the assembly lines and the pre delivery testing benches, its quite relaxed and again an eye opener.
All up phenomenal day and cannot recommend highly enough

A unique tour with twists and turns
We indulged in booking the tour to the Lamborghini factory and museum, the Ferrari museum, and the Ducati factory and museum. While the Lamborghini and Ducati factory legs included tours by guides working for the factories, the 3 museums were ordinarily self-guided. The "skip the line" treatment felt very special.
The Lamborghini factory's guide was equipped with a blue tooth mic and all of the people in the group had ear pieces so we were able to hear every word, delivered in English.
We were met at our hotel by Antonio and Giuseppe. As it turned out the other people in the tour were in a separate van and we had a separate car to ourselves. That is not usual, our car had seats for 4 but the other 2 people did not attend. Therefore we had the very knowledge and English-flyer Giuseppe to ourselves! We discussed all manner of things, not just cars. 😃
(The tour also included a huge lunch in a country restaurant that we would never have found on our own with all of the pasta made fresh onsite.)
The Lamborghini factory tour was why I picked this particular tour. Videos and photos are not permitted of the assemble line but you we saw all steps in production. Some of the colors chosen by the future owners were unusual to put it mildly. The small Lambo museum was the only one where people can touch the cars on exhibit. I have photos leaning on "my" Gallardo. We were not given a time limit by which we had to finish the museum visit after the factory.
The Ferrari museum exhibits are much more detailed and the entire history of the brand is presented. (The Ferrari factory was not open to tours. There is also another Ferrari museum that is not part of this particular tour.)
As happens in Italy, an unexpected strike at the Ducati factory prevented the tour from viewing the assembly line or museum. To make up for this glitch, Antonio got on the phone and presto! we were treated to an impromptu tour of the Pagani factory and museum. That's what I call excellent customer service! Ordinarily tickets must be booked well in advance and are strictly limited.
We arrived for the last tour and because the daily number of people allowed into the factory, my husband and I weren't permitted in. However, that was the end of the tour for the tour participants.
Antonio and Giuseppe offered many alternatives, such as visiting the Enzo Ferrari museum, but I was not interested in. On our way back to our hotel, Antonio took us by Ducati, "just in case" the strike was over, which it was! The factory was closed but Giuseppe and Antonio persuaded the company to let us into the museum. Therfore we basically had the place to ourselves.
The Ducati aspect of the tour was what attracted my husband to this specific tour. I know nothing about Ducati motorcycles but the museum must be fantastic -- my husband and Giuseppe acted as excited as 12 year old boys as they worked their way from one version to the next. Giuseppe's knowledge was deep and passionate as he acted as our private tour guide. We looked at every single motorcycle on exhibit, and Giuseppe knew the history of them, their designers and history, the people who rode the bikes in championships, the details of the engines, and he had actually ridden some of the road versions of them. As I said earlier, in the ordinary course there would've been no tour guide. My husband couldn't have been happier.
We were impressed and grateful for how the unexpected "diversion" was addressed. Bravo Anto! Grazie mille Guisep!
