Day Trips from Dong Hoi to Hue

With remarkable geographical and emotional diversity, our DMZ tour will take visitors on a seamless arc through two contrasting fronts of the Resistance War Against America. From the deeply moving underground survival network of the coastal Vinh Moc Tunnels to the dramatic, mist-shrouded mountain outposts along the Ho Chi Minh Trail at Khe Sanh and the Dakrong Bridge. By pairing iconic Cold War borderlines like the 17th Parallel and Ben Hai River with the poignant, ruin-scarred sanctuaries of the Quang Tri Citadel, the itinerary balances intense historical immersion with sweeping landscape transitions, offering a uniquely holistic reflection on conflict, human resilience, and the enduring spirit of peace.

Experience a full day in Khe Sanh — begin your morning by picking, roasting, and savoring freshly brewed local coffee amid the scenic highlands. In the afternoon, visit the historic Ta Con Airbase and Quang Tri Citadel to uncover the powerful stories and rich heritage of this legendary land.
