Wonderful full day with Colin!
Really wonderful day! We were picked up at our B&B by Colin. We were at ease right away with him- very kind and funny! We first went to Blarney and Colin gave us all the tips we needed for a great experience. We met after the Blarney Castle tour and went to the Woolen Mills for THE BEST IRISH COFFEE I’ve ever had in my life! We had mentioned that we’d like to have a nice seafood lunch in Kinsale. Colin was kind enough to recommend a restaurant and even called and made the reservation for us. We made our way to Cobh and saw the cathedral and the marina/waterfront area (gorgeous!). We then headed to Kinsale. The Old Head was the highlight for me- you’ve never seen more beautiful cliffs and ocean! Breathtaking! Since we are American, Colin recommended we see the 9/11 Garden of Remembrance. It was so special and touching to see the 343 firefighters who perished remembered on this beautiful piece of land- extremely moving. Next was our lunch reservation in Kinsale. We ate at Fishy Fishy and it was great! Colin got us back to our hotel in Cork in one piece. He was a great guide and told great stories, keeping us in stitches the entire day. Loved this tour!

Great cultural insight!
Great tour with a local guide. Our group was friendly and we tried a lot of great food at the market, and stopped at a few local pubs as well for flights and cheese platter. We loved learning about the history and culture of Cork. We definitely recommend this tour.

Beautiful castle and tour
Excellent tour guides and experience. The castle was beautiful. Our entire group were on board by 8:45 so we were able to be some of the first people in line to kiss the stone. When we came out there was over a hour wait. We also enjoyed shopping in kinsdale and the church. They got us back in plenty of time to board the ship.

Lovely boat trip and a concert!
Great boat trip to view Kinsale from the sea and to enjoy some time on the water. 50 mins start to finish. Boat has a snack bar serving good range of drinks so you can enjoy a coffee or a cocktail and a bathroom. We were expecting a boat trip but got a trip and a concert. The host for our trip was Ciaran Mac who is a wonderful singer who kept us so entertained the fabulous scenery was a shabby second. One of the passengers joined in on a drum and it was a lot of fun. It was Irish hospitality at its best and a lovely afternoon. I have been to Kinsale many times but this was my first time doing the harbour cruise - safe to say it will not be my last.

Cork is the second-largest city in the Republic of Ireland but gets fewer visitors than Dublin or Galway. But those who visit are richly rewarded—not only with a young, interesting city with plenty to eat, drink, and do but also excellent access to the best nature of southeastern Ireland. Cork tours allow you to base yourself in the city and see remote, unspoiled parts of the coast, such as the Wild Atlantic Way and the Ring of Kerry. Once you’re back in town, you can visit a distillery, take a food tour, or ramble through the historic center with a helpful guide.
