This is the perfect day trip out of Cork. Seeing Cohb, Blarney Castle, and Kinsale, along with an amazing local lunch spot on the coast was simply amazing. Derek is a fantastic guide and goes to great lengths to make it a memorable day. We highly recommend Derek and this tour.

If you do nothing else in Cork, you must do this tour. The history and traditional foods came alive with Kerry, born and raised in Cork, she knew so much about the history of cork it's culture. Every single vendor that we stopped at was tickled to see her -- and we really enjoyed listening to their local banter. Do not eat any food on your day before this tour as you will get an amazing sampling of treats. Our favorites were the Irish coffee at the first Pub and the family made sausage and potatoes with Ballymaloe relish at our first Food stop ( yes, trust me on this as I never eat American sausage, but I loved this sausage!) All the ingredients the vendors use are fresh, hormone and additive/ preservative free. And my husband said I need to mention the fresh seafood stop where he had wonderful oysters, smoked mackerel and prawns! Besides the amazing food, our guide Kerry was the true highlight-- she loves Cork, and her enthusiasm is contagious. We shared some gossips and laughed alot. I was going to say that this was the best food tour we've ever done, but I think it stands out even more --as one of the better tours we've ever done (and we travel extensively.) Our hats off to Kerry, who covered so much in 3 hours. Our only regret is that we did not have enough time in Cork this trip. But we hope to return soon!

Darren was fabulous. I mentioned how much I had wanted to do a Jameson tour. He made the reservation, ensured we would get their on time, changed the schedule to accommodate & made it all happen! Fabulous. He made us a lovely lunch reservation where the food was fabulous, with a view!
