This was our first time visiting Cork. We had a small-group tour with Noel, who showed us the sites of interest and relayed an incredible amount of history interwoven with personal experiences. A wonderful introduction to Cork.

It’s a nice experience for kids on a school trip. The guide was kind and spoke slowly so the kids were able to to take notes

It was such an amazing tour of Cork City filled with an abundance of historical references, architectural details and cultural explanations led by Chris, an extremely knowledgeable and pleasant tour guide. Highly recommend this tour as a starting point for an introduction to first time visitors.

I really got a sense of the history of Cork and its Centre City. Noel, our guide, was lovely. Patient, kind and knowledgeable. His passion for his community, city and country shown through. He added some personal touches to the tour that were particularly special. Mt favorite was the mural of Frederick Douglass. I did not know that he had been invited by the city of Cork to speak there. Viewing his mural so many miles away from my home in the US and the day after Dr. King’s holiday was especially poignant. Highly recommend.

Thank you for your very positive review. We are delighted to unearth and present the magical heritage of Cork

Very pleasant tour director. Didn’t always seem to flow- information jumped about a bit. Was not an ideal day as it was raining constantly which no doubt effected the whole process.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Thank you for your positive remarks about the tour guide. The weather is an everchanging and unpredictable element of Ireland !

Great tour of Cork City. Aidean was an excellent tour guide. She introduced us to highlights of the city and included lots of local and regional history. She told us interesting and sometimes comical anecdotes while answering all of our questions. Enjoyed ending at the English market where we sampled some delicious and fresh food. Thanks Aidean for a wonderful experience.

The Cork city ramble was a nice concise walking tour of city center. Our guide, Noel, gave us great information in less than ideal conditions - it rained and was windy the entire tour. But that's Ireland.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Thank you for your understanding about the weather but we are so pleased you enjoyed the tour despite the rain !

Fair amount of walking but nothing most can’t handle. Interesting history of Cork, without being solely about religion. Friendly and knowledgeable and respectful guide.

Maria_M, Jul 2025
Great walking tour of Cork city. Noel was very knowledgeable and personable. It was great to hear all the little stories about sites and areas that we would have just walked right by and not have realized the significance.
Response from Host, Aug 2025
Thank you, that is the real value in guided walking tours, hearing about stuff that otherwise would have went unnoticed. Thank you for your great review.
Robyn_G, Jul 2025
14/5/25. Arrived in Port of Cork from cruise ship. Caught the train (across the road from ship) to city. Met our local guide, Adeen. What a gem! Not only had a lovely accent but she was funny, had great stories to tell. 6 of us in walking tour made it personal and easy to hear. Just loved the time spent here. Would go back just to see more of the city.
Response from Host, Aug 2025
Thank you so much for your kind comments and positive review.
Diana_B, Jun 2025
Perfect length for a walking tour - not too long or too short. The guide was informative and kept things moving. The best walking tour that I’ve done in Ireland
Response from Host, Jun 2025
We are delighted to hear you enjoyed our tour so much. We go to a great deal of effort to balance content, distance and visitor experience. Thank you kindly for your review
Barbara_S, Jun 2025
A large group of people on the tour and sometimes hard to understand the guide. Not really a lot to see, though the guide did do a good job of explaining Cork. Surprised that he couldn’t suggest a place for lunch afterwards.
Response from Host, Jun 2025
Thank you for your review, we are pleased you enjoyed our guides explanation of Cork. One must be extremely careful in recommending particular places to eat as everybody's taste is different and what's one person's great food is another worst. After all, people can give very negative reviews for the most trivial of reasons.
gary_I, May 2025
We were at the meeting place early, and waited until long after the start time. No one showed up! I messaged our host some time ago and gave them my phone number, but heard nothing. The phone number on our ticket for the tour provider did not work. VERY DISAPPOINTING.
Response from Host, Jun 2025
We are very sorry to hear of your disappointment but our guide was at the meeting point from 10 minutes before departure time until 10 minutes after. All other tour participants turned up and the entire group waited for you for 10 minutes after the official starting time of 12 noon. The guide was obliged at that point to begin the tour. Our phone line which is attended before, during and after all tours did not receive any message or phone call. The guide later reported to us that you had not arrived. The meeting point is very clearly specified on the ticket, it is 125 Patrick St, We are not sure where you went or what number you called but our guide was there and commenced a very successful and engaging tour with all other participants. Our phone number (also specified on your ticket) did not receive any message or call.

This was a great tour with a great and knowledgeable guide, Mary. A must if you are interested in learning about some of the history of Cork.
Response from Host, May 2025
Thank you. We are delighted you enjoyed the tour.
John_M, Apr 2025
Our guide, Mary, led a group of 3 through the streets Cork and gave a very nice presentation of the city’s history and honored citizens. Along the way she pointed out the historic, streets. buildings and bridges. While Mary was quite well versed in the subjects, her voice didn’t project well across a busy and noisy city. A microphone would benefit any crowd larger than 4 or so.
Response from Host, May 2025
Thank you for your positive feedback
