Magical Day in Corfu

The tour and our driver (Stephan’s) was phenomenal. I highly recommend both. Although Stephan’s was a driver and not a tour guide, you could not tell the difference. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions in great and interesting detail. We were traveling with our best friends and our 14 and 18 year old granddaughters and he was able to suggest places to visit that everyone enjoyed and kept everyone engaged in the tour. He was a Very safe driver and returned us promptly to the port. Thank you Stephans for a truly magical day in Corfu.

We really enjoyed our tour with Alice. She was well versed in the history of Corfu and walked us all around the beautiful town. The food was plentiful and excellent. We appreciated trying traditional Greek food, which was quite good. Corfu was clean and absolutely beautiful. The locals were friendly and welcoming. We hope to return some day in the future.

Note that you met at the boat within Corfu Port, not the office on the road. It is about a 25 min walk from the edge of Corfu Town. I booked a taxi and thankfully the driver knew exactly where to drop me and even which boat I was about to board! The trip itself was exactly what was advertised. It's basically a big ferry ride out of Corfu, passing some sites along the way. Sit on the starboard/ right side of the boat for views of sites when first leaving the port, and sit on the left/port side for the best views of Paxos before going into the caves. We stopped at Lefkimmi to pick up additional passengers. We then stopped at Gaios first for 2 hours of lunch/ coffee , and some souvenir shopping. Last was the swim spot which was a good deal of fun. I thought the swimming was first, but doing the swimming last worked out well so we weren't all wet and half dressed walking through town. There was an air conditioned inside cabin on the main deck with single ladies and men's restrooms. On our return they turned up the music and had a dance party on the top deck. If that's not your thing you can retreat to A/C cabin below like I did and you don't hear a thing. They bring you right back to the place you started. All announcements were in multiple languages.

Beautiful, clean, not crowded, and unique boat/swim/eat experience! The owners take great pride in assuring a wonderful time. We went to three different swim locations. They have noodles and snorkel masks on board. Coffee and fresh bread greets you. A snack is offered (ours was fresh bruschetta) and an amazing grilled lunch of meats, pita, salads etc. Unlimited bev and white Greek wine. A sweet ending of fresh cut fruit was perfect. Be sure to check times and location as it was a 25 min walk from port. Shout out to the owners and crew of Korfu as this was our favorite excursion ever! This will definitely be a repeat for us when we return to Corfu.

Ari our skipper was so friendly and welcoming. He was very knowledgeable and shared lots of facts about the island and places we were passing. The swim stops were beautiful and drinks were fairly priced (€3 beer/€5 Prosecco/€8 strong cocktails) all soft drinks and water were free and plentiful. Wish we could have stayed aboard all day! Made the holiday.

Picturesque!

They provide a very comfortable and modern bus. The tour guide was knowledgeable and the driver was professional and skilled at navigating the narrow roadways. We loved the very picturesque scenery and unbelievable turquoise water (a bit too chilly to get in this time of year although a few brave soles were in). An enjoyable tour. Our guide, Magda, was excellent. The only issue was the boat operators' union caused a cancellation of that part of the tour. It was unfortunate but Viator tried to make it right by providing a partial refund. Thank you Viator! It was still a lovely day in a beautiful place.
