Definitely recommend in Christchurch
We had a fantastic day. It was a great way to see the country side as well as explore the forest and see the waterfalls at Arthur's Pass. VJ was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable. We started the day by taking the Alpine Train to Arthur's pass. Then VJ took us to beautiful scenic spot and showed us where filming took place for the Lion the witch and the wardrobe. He also shared NZ snacks with us. It was a wonderful way to spend a day in Christchurch.

Wonderful day out
Fabulous day out. Started with a stop at the cheese factory, where I bought a lot of cheese.
It was then onto Akaroa. A beautiful little town. The shops are lovely and everyone was very welcoming. The lunch was great, so much food. We were very lucky on the cruise to see a pod of Hectors Dolphins. It was a a fantastic day out.

Logan was a knowlegeable guide and a good driver. I traveled with my senior parents and their friends and he was very accomodating. Plenty of water, snacks on the van. Lunch was filling. Sun was shining in Lake Tekapo unfortunately it rained in Mt Cook but thats the weather 😅. He shared some of his culture which was very interesting. Overall enjoyed the trip..

Great way to enjoy The diversity of the Southern Island
This trip gives you time to enjoy some of the tremendous beauties that span the southern island from Christchurch to Queenstown. Frequent stops made the trip much more manageable and the views are exceptional on the trip. Plus the ability to hike at some of these sites really make it enjoyable.

A Must- do
Christchurch is an incredible city, and the Hop on Hop off tram is the perfect way to familiarize yourself with many of the sights and places you may want to explore further. Not only do you make a 50 minute loop to get the lay of the land, the conductors are informative and entertaining. It's a good idea to do the loop to see what Christchurch has to offer, then go back to stops of interest and get off and explore. Highly recommend this tour as a great way to see the highlights of Christchurch, including The Quake Museum, the Christchurch Cathedral, shopping and dining areas, and the Botanical Gardens. And don't miss viewing the eels that live in the Avon River!

An extremely interesting...
An extremely interesting day. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and showed us how much Christchurch has changed since the 2 earthquakes in 2010/11. It was very sad to see the Cathedral still under repair as we had seen it pre-earthquake in 2007. It's a lovely city to visit and to see how much has been rebuilt so far. Hope the good work continues 🙏

Brilliant Tour! Fascinating information.
What a fantastic experience with Giles on this tour. What he doesn't know about wines probably isn't worth knowing! We visited some fantastic wineries, and it was great seeing the vines just about to be harvested. Giles' was brilliant in adding so much to the information being shared from the winery staff. The wines were brilliant, and a lovely platter lunch was included. What a fantastic day, comfortable, interesting, delicious and well-hosted by Giles.

Christchurch scenic highlights and International Antarctic Centre
We had 2 guides/drivers (Joseph and Pete) and both were very knowledgeable and provided excellent insight on the history of Christchurch before and after the devastating 2010-2011 earthquakes. The International Antarctic Center exceeded our expectations with their interactive and immersive activities. The highlights included experiencing the harsh conditions of an Antarctic storm and traversing in all-terrain Haaglund vehicle. Definitely worth taking this tour!

Awesome daytrip for any level of LOTR fan
This was a wonderful journey from Christchurch to a must-visit location for any LOTR fan (though you don't have to be a fan to enjoy the beauty). The tour featured a drive through the Canterbury region to the stunning location of "Edoras", including stops for snacks and a delicious picnic lunch. Our driver/guide, Cheryl, was fantastic--providing us with fun, detailed stories about the filming location as well as information about the region and her own personal experiences. Getting to spend time on Mount Sunday, taking photos with props, was truly magical. It is definitely a full-day adventure, but well worth it.

Spectacular 360 degree views, worth the wait
Wow, the views were stunning on the way up and down the gondola. The views from the gondola top station were amazing! As we walked around the top we were presented with spectacular panoramic views of Lyttelton harbour, the Christchurch cityscape, across the plains to the southern alps and very long beaches. 360 degree views! Follow the map provided and do the discovery ride at the bottom of the top station! It was a highlight of our experience. It was a busy day when we visited and worth the wait.

Christchurch to Queenstown Tour
We enjoyed the tour tremendously. Spectacular views, stunning spots to take pictures and an enthusiastic and knowlegeable driver/guide who shared many of his personal outdoor adventures.
The driver/guide of the second part from Cook Mountain to Queenstown was very informative about the history of New Zealand. We learned a lot.
The tour was definitely a winner over flying.
