What are people saying about Charlottetown

Enjoyable, informative, and lots for the money
The tour guide on the bus was great. It was nearly an hour to the Green Gables complex, which was larger than I expected and had a nice cafe. On the way back, we stopped at a fishing village for an explanation about lobster traps, a well known coastal spot great for photos, and a place that made their own jams. Definitely a worthwhile trip.

It would be helpful if...
It would be helpful if the stops were highlighted in the tour description so people would know in advance. Also, it would be helpful for the guide to hold a Viator tour sign at the Delta Hotel pick up point. There are a lot of vans picking up people there, and the pick up vehicle had a different business logo on it.

Do this tour!!
We had a wonderful tour guide whose family has been on the island for generations. She was a gold mine of information. We learned so much more than we could’ve learned walking around on our own. I wish I would’ve taken this tour the first day I was in town so I would’ve known what to do on the second. I compared notes with people who took the food tour offered by the cruise ship and our food was much better! Instead of getting some ice cream, we had lobster rolls and oysters, etc.. Also, we did not have a group of 40; we had a group of eight, which is SO much better. I really enjoyed getting to know the other people in the group and our guide. Also loved the town.

Great tour and even better tour guide!
Travis is an excellent tour guide! He is very personable and friendly. The e-bike tour was casual yet informative. It was the perfect addition to our trip. We loved having the opportunity to take a photo at a lighthouse. I highly recommend doing this activity and having Travis as your guide! He’s the best!

A super fun time!
We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide! Carolyn was very informative, engaging and knowledgable. We learned so much about Charlottetown and all of its charm thanks to her! The walk was a pleasant and quaint stroll around town at a very calm and leisurely pace.

A walk of Downtown Charlottetown
Our tour guide Jaime is a fifth generation local resident and very knowledgeable about the area. This walking tour requires traversing approximately 4 to 5 kilometers on mostly level roads. The walk included short visits to several houses of worship as well as visiting buildings memorializing the confederation meeting of 1864. The tour is definitely worthwhile.

Fantastic tour and guide
You cannot find a better tour guide than Don. His years of experience and knowledge combined with his love for P.E.I. are evident. We started with a drive through Charlottetown and continued on to the Anne of Green Gables sites. He gave us as much time as we wanted at the sites, and any time we had an “oh, wow!” moment, he would stop so we could take photos. He was very personable and professional.

We had a wonderful tour...
We had a wonderful tour of PEI with Jack. He is a fabulous tour guide who is very attentive to his guests and what they are interested in. We did not want to do shopping or visit touristy destinations, we wanted to see how the residents of PEI lived, their history and the nature of the island. Jack is very proud of his community and gave a great feel for this beautiful province, it’s culture and its history.

The walking tour was easy...
The walking tour was easy to use and informative. The GPS tracking made it very easy to navigate since the audio would automatically start once you arrive at a stop. The tour took around 2 hours without stopping. There is some construction at the Province House which caused some confusion. You need to cross Grafton and take a left and the tour will resume. Highly recommend if you want a self guided tour option.

Wonderful walking tour!
We learned so much about this beautiful and historic place. Our guide could not have been any better, he was knowledgeable, friendly and kind. Extra bonus was that he has a role in a local community theater production that we are lucky enough to see while we’re here.
Thoroughly enjoyed the adventure!

Nice staff, bikes in good condition and staff was safety conscious
Ernie and Gary were great tour guides. We preferred to break from the main group to do more biking rather than stopping at sites and listening to the history. Gary took us on a more biking trail tour than the history speaking one which we preferred. You can also rent bikes independently if you don’t want the history tour .

Small ship but made it...
Small ship but made it cozy.
Food was tasty. We had the chicken, ceasar and home made rolls so can't rate the lobster roll.
Guide entertaining and knowledgeable. Encouraged questions and answered them so people understood.
The range of information was amazing.
