What are people saying about Champagne

Highly recommended champagne tasting tour from Épernay
Our guide Philippe is a walking encyclopedia. He's been making champagne in Champagne for decades and knows everything about the champagne making process and the champagne houses in the area. He could answer any question that we had and he was trying to teach as best as he could, even giving us a little quiz to test us. It was kind of unexpected but I loved it a lot. The champagne tasting in Ogre was amazing, we had the chance to taste great quality Grand Cru champagnes.

Great Champagne tour. ...
Great Champagne tour. Especially liked the small family houses. Our guide Eve was well informed and simply lovely. We were also fortunate that there was only two other people with us who we had a wonderful time with. Nice that we were able to see the church where Dom Perignon was buried as it was just being closed for a few years for renovations.

Lovely Bubbly Experience
Our guide Adam fully immersed us in a journey into the beautiful world of champagne, learning the art and science of making bottles of the bubbly. The scenery was breath taking while on our break we enjoyed a true French meal. I would highly recommend this experience.

Luis was fantastic with...
Luis was fantastic with the group. He was so happy and passionate to share his knowledge about champagne growing and the whole region. We got to visit and do tastings at small maisons du champagne which was cool to keep it local and see the small batch production. The place we had lunch was great, it was arranged for us and we each paid our own tab, super easy. I’m filling this out at the Moet & Chandon in Epernay where Luis left us to enjoy on our own. Highly recommend taking a tour with this company!

If you like the finer things in life, a visit to France’s bubbly-producing Champagne region is certainly in order. Champagne tours mostly focus on visits to local producers, from small family operations to globally adored Champagne houses such as Veuve Clicquot and Moet and Chandon. If you’re not into the fizzy stuff, fear not—you’ll find plenty of alternative tours that will take you everything from historic cathedrals to World War I battle sights.
