Private tour is such a great way to do this. One on one attention from a a very knowledgeable tour guide. Terrific experience! Turtles and stingray! Great pictures at the end of it all! Wonderful team Suly excellent guide and very patient with the slower snookers ! Rod great and safe driver took good care of our things! Jorge took amazing pictures and made it fun! Love the pictures ! So grateful we took this trip!
Wonderful experience! Arturo was an expert at making the trip work for everyone. We did have 2 people get very seasick. Prepare accordingly! But everyone had a great time, we all had 2 turns in the water and there were tons of whale sharks! Also, the guacamole and ceviche they made for us was delicious!
This experience was top notch! Our guide Pili did a fabulous job preparing us for each stop and pointing out interesting features at each stop. Oscar was a safe and informative captain. Miguel took amazing photos and videos that will last us a lifetime! The only tip we would suggest is to consider shaving your mustache if you want the best seal for the mask. It’s possible to do it with facial hair, but my husband will shave before our next trip!
It’s great fun. We’ve done these before in Mazatlan so when we saw them here we signed up right away on Viator while planning our trip so they wouldn’t sell out. We highly recommend this activity to anyone who doesn’t get sea sick in small boats, doesn’t drive like an idiot & can follow the safety rules. They even took drone footage of us as we departed the dock area & offered it to us at a reasonable price at the end! Super cool!
Highly recommend, worth the time and money, weather permitting of course.
Towels are not provided, so bring one if you desire. The trip overall was great, it starts out with a safety briefing then you sale for 30 minutes to the first destination, a reef. You can then choose to go on a guided snorkel tour of the reef or just hand out around the boat to snorkel and paddleboard. About 30 minutes later a light lunch/snack is served and open bar. After about 1.5 hrs total at this destination they may moved us to an inlet area as the sea was becoming rough. We finished our trip at this location by paddleboarding/swimming/jumping off the boat. The staff was great and you can tell they want everyone to have a good time. One of the passengers became seasick and they were very helpful and attentive with making her feel better. Overall highly recommended, bring sunscreen since there isn't too much shade on the boat.
Wonderful experience from the moment we got there. Super easy checking in next thing you know your on the boat heading out. Guide and Captain super friendly and our guide really made it about snorkeling. The whole time we were in the water we were exploring. Absolutely amazing trip. Would highly recommend.
Great trip! We had about 2.5 hours on Isla Mujeres. The snorkel and swim spots were great. It wasn’t too long at the snorkel swim spots for those waiting in the boat. Good sandwiches were provided on the way to the island. Friendly staff! I do wish we had a bit more time on the island as the beaches were stunning!
We had an amazing snorkeling experience thanks to Olaf and Cornelio! From start to finish, everything was well organized, safe, and fun. They were incredibly knowledgeable, made us feel comfortable in the water, and took the time to point out so much marine life we would have missed on our own.
Their energy and professionalism really stood out, they made the whole experience enjoyable and memorable. You can tell they truly care about what they do and about giving people a great time.
Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!
Very well organized. No sunscreen to be worn while snorkeling so wear appropriate clothes to cover your skin. Guide, Rudolpho, was fantastic and kind. Food at lunch was good. All belongings have to be left in a locker. We saw a sea turtle and a few exotic fish.
Loved it. My first time parasailing and jet skiing. Tour operators seemed overwhelmed by the volume of people for the experience. They did not interact or attempt to interact with us much. The taxi boat driver said he was too busy to take us back to our starting point so we had to walk through the Riu lobby to make our way back to the main dock.
Snorkeling was so much fun! The guide was extremely helpful and calm, captain Barracuda drove the boat well and they even had an extra guide to take GoPro photos and videos. We got fantastic footage with the turtles and the many colorful fish around the reef, museum and shipwreck.
Our driver was punctual and arrived directly outside of our resort lobby in an easily identifiable uniform. During the transfer, our guide was very knowledgeable and provided us with detailed information of the environments we were going to visit and an explanation of their culture importance. At the inlet, our guide provided us with snorkelling equipment and life jackets. We had plenty of time in the water and we saw hundreds of colourful fish and many impressive rock formations. On our way to the cenote, we were offered cold water, fruit, and granola bars. Like at the inlet, we were provided with like jackets for the cenote. We had the opportunity to explore multiple caves,
and learn about the stalagmites, bats, fish, and many other aspects of this impressive underwater ecosystem. Our tour group was very small and we never felt rushed by our guide or driver. This tour is a great way to learn more about Quintana Roo’s culture and environment, and it allows you to visit many areas that are not overly commercialized for tourism.
