A trip down the Rio Sucuri is one of the best family-friendly activities in Bonito.

A local guide leads the small-group tours, which include snorkel gear, wet suits, and life jackets. The tours are suitable for children and non-swimmers who can stay in the boat or float in the water with a life jacket.

Each tour starts with a boat trip up the river. Visitors can then jump into the water or stay on the boat, accompanying the snorkelers as they float down the river.

Visitors are not allowed to swim, kick, or touch the bottom of the river to protect the crystal clear waters.

The Fazenda São Geraldo ranch has a swimming pool, hammocks, restaurant, bar, toilets (suitable for wheelchair users), lockers, and a souvenir shop.
