Fun Landsailing adventure!
So much fun! This excursion is easy to get to. An air conditioned van picks you up and returns you to the cruise port just outside the gate. The sail cars are easy to learn. They provide a helmet, gloves, and glasses. They take ohtoots of you racing and provide the download for feee. They also give you a nice reusable water bottle to keep. The driver will give a tour and answer questions to and from the land sailing destination. It is safe and so much fun!

Great tour
On my previous visits to Bonaire I’ve only seen the south part of the island, so this was a great way to see more of the island. It was easy to meet our guide near the cruise port. There were only four of us in our group so that was great, but it might have become uncomfortable with a full minivan. I especially enjoyed visiting 1000 steps, the old capital of Rincon, and a lookout point over the island.

A Great Snorkel Excursion
We’ve been on several snorkeling excursions, this was the best so far! Before anyone got in the water Bart briefed us on the kinds of finish we would be seeing, I don’t think anyone has ever done that before, and it was really helpful. It was great that it was a small group! We were signed up for the afternoon tour, but there were not enough signed up. Fortunately, we got the notification in time to make the early one. We walked a short distance from the shop to a small pier where the boat picked us up.we went to two locations near Klein Bonaire, both were beautiful, and had an amazing array of fish. The second site had more coral, and other reef life, which was beautiful, but it does make the snorkeling more difficult, as you don’t want to and should not kick it. Bart, the guide, snorkeled with the group, pointing out things to those who could see him. He also took some great photos, which he shared with the group afterwards. Another interesting note, the provided snorkel gear on this excursion was among the best that we’ve seen. It was a gear excursion.

Our snorkeling excursion...
Our snorkeling excursion with Captain Tariq was the highlight of our week in the Caribbean. There were 10 of us and the boat was very comfortable for our group. The crew was attentive, informative and fun to be with as we motored around and stopped for two snorkeling spots, including one that had beach access for those who wanted to walk or be on a beach. It was very interesting to learn so much about Bonaire. A wonderful array of cold drinks was provided, which was most welcome. We all loved our afternoon and would highly recommend this excursion

As you might expect, Bonaire excursions are largely water-based. With its incredible marine life and beautiful beaches, there are plenty of boat trips and snorkeling tours to enjoy the crystal-clear waters surrounding this Caribbean island. But there’s more to discover on dry land in Bonaire than you might think. The colorful and lively capital, Kralendijk, has plenty to offer, plus there’s lots to learn with historical landmarks and the island’s darker past. Be sure to experience the incredible underwater experiences in Bonaire, but don’t miss everything the island has to offer above water, too.
