The tour at the Mangroves was awesome, highly recommend it. You learn a lot and have some fun and get some exercise while enjoying the sites.
My only issue was we also booked to include pickup/dropoff. The pickup time stated 11:30 so we assumed that was when we would get picked up; however, they came at 10:45 for pickup and then we had not been ready so we had rushed and that was a bit stressful. I had checked a couple times about the times for pickup but never got any other information on it. Once we made it to the site and got on the water all that went away and it was great. The guys doing the tour had been fabulous and very helpful!

This tour was absolutely amazing ! We really enjoyed our tour and our tour guide was incredible. Our tour was at 2:30 and they picked us up at the ship right at 2:00, which was not told to us through email… I would highly recommend
Beautiful, unspoiled mangroves, with great underwater life that is different from what you see in the reefs - so, it is a complimentary trip to your expected underwater activities. As a wonderful bonus, many flamingos near the Center, grown-up and young, so you can see how they change the color when they grow. Very well organized, with a friendly and knowledgeable guide.
The tour was fantastic learned a lot about the mangroves and had a great time going through them along with the experience to see below them in the snorkel . You will not really see the colorful fish but understanding what you are seeing in the snorkel is key it is not what you are seeing out in the open waters.
Highlight oc our Caribbean cruise ! We had a fantastic few hours with Thomas. The kayaking was peaceful and we really enjoyed enjoyed snorkeling in the mangroves. Perfect trip. They have a bird rescue right behind theircenter. We did need to grab a taxi to get there from the port, but we made that into a tour of the saltponds.
