This was listed as an English tour but of the 5 people present I was the only English speaker, so the tour guide Juan did the tour in Spanish and English.
It's a good tour. For the mine inself its an individual tour. You can get an audio device to translate.
Afterward, we all went to the same place for lunch. The price was reasonable and the food is typical Colombian fare.
The mine can be cooler than outside temperature.

Fun Day
David was a great tour guide. He had lots of knowledge about the area, the history of the salt mine and cathedral. He customized our tour our interests in the town. Had a great day!

A Deeply Moving Experience with a great guide
This tour was one of the most profound and deeply moving experiences that I ever had at a sacred space. Jhovanny was the perfect guide. Not only did he know Cathedral inside and out, he was able to allow me to have my experience moving through it.
What I had not expected was how great our time in the town of Zipaquira would be as well.
I give this tour the highest praise I can.

Well run tour but perhaps not worth the time or expense
The logistics of everything went very well. The guide and driver were both excellent and very professional. I admit to being a bit of a well seasoned jaded traveler. This trip is a very long day and in the end it serves to hike around a lake and visit a salt mine. Having visited previous salt mines, this was honestly not that big of a deal (and a pretty expensive attraction), so in retrospect I don't think this was worth the time or expense. Maybe if you've never visited a salt mine, but otherwise I don't think I would do this tour again. Lots of time spent in traffic, big crowds at the lake the day we went (holiday weekend), and we didn't even get lunch until 3PM.

Esteban and Alfonso were...
Esteban and Alfonso were excellent guides for this tour. They were very knowledgeable and ensured that everything was well-executed. The visits to Guatavita and Guatavita Lagoon were beautiful, providing great cultural context for the region. We had visited the Museo del Oro the day prior, so everything tied in well. Lunch in Zipaquirá was at a nice restaurant and consisted of a tasty traditional Colombian plate. The subsequent visit to Catedral de Sal was incredible. We had plenty of time to explore the beautiful chambers and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We had a great time with our driver. We were able to explore the cave on our own time. A highlight for us was stopping into the Zipaquirá city center for some Holy Week celebrations as well.

David was an excellent...
David was an excellent guide and the whole trip went smoothly. Very interesting and worth it, but the tour company’s van had zero shock absorbers and since Bogota roads have serious ruts and pot holes, the drive was extremely uncomfortable. I would not choose this tour provider except they acquire some new-ish vehicles.
