Along the way, visit a traditional Tea Factory and its surrounding plantations, unique in Europe, where you’ll have the chance to taste the island’s distinctive tea. Head up to Pico do Ferro, a spectacular mountain viewpoint with one of the most impressive views over the Furnas Valley and its volcanic landscape. Then, explore the famous Caldeiras das Furnas, known for their geothermal activity, bubbling hot springs, mineral waters, and small geysers, an authentic showcase of the island’s volcanic nature. To end the day, relax on a scenic drive back to Ponta Delgada along the south coast, passing through the picturesque town of Vila Franca do Campo and enjoying coastal views that provide a perfect closing to a memorable and experience-filled journey.

Discover Nordeste, located on the easternmost part of the island, widely regarded as the most beautiful region of São Miguel and one of the most flower-rich areas in Europe. Begin your experience at the iconic Salto do Cavalo viewpoint, offering breathtaking panoramic views over Povoação, the island’s oldest settlement, and its dramatic coastline. Travel onwards through the Serra da Tronqueira, a protected natural reserve rich in dense vegetation and home to unique wildlife, including the rare Azores bullfinch (Pyrrhula murina). Weather permitting, enjoy views of Pico da Vara, the highest peak on the island. Arrive in the tranquil village of Nordeste, where you will have free time to wander and discover this charming area, known for its beautiful gardens and traditional character. The tour continues with scenic stops along the east and south coasts, including a visit to Povoação, before returning with unforgettable views along the way.

Join us for a full-day adventure exploring Terceira’s most stunning landscapes, charming towns, and must-see highlights at a relaxed pace. Start with breathtaking views from Monte Brasil, then head to the iconic viewpoints of Ilhéu das Cabras and Serra do Cume. Enjoy free time for lunch and exploring in Praia da Vitória (lunch not included), followed by a visit to the volcanic pools of Biscoitos. End the day with a local cheese tasting and stories about Terceira’s traditions. Pickup between 10:00 and 10:15 in Angra do Heroísmo. Return by late afternoon. If time allows, we’ll include bonus stops. A perfect way to connect with the real Terceira.
