Intertwined with the local communities we curate encounters and tastings you wouldn’t otherwise be able to live, EXCLUSIVELY with independent wine producers. This heroic wine comes from vines that grow from lava soil and flourish on the rock. All the work is done manually and none of this has changed in 500 years, when the first settlers introduced grape growing in Pico. After our walk in the landscape of Pico Wine, to refresh our feet, we drive you to one of our favorite natural swimming pools, in an amazing setting or just lay down for a bit, exchanging more local stories and preparing your appetite for the next stop. Finally, we take to a wine tasting in a beautiful setting with an emergent and promising awarded independent local producer. You will experience all the landscape and history in your mouth!

This trail takes us into the interior of Terceira Island, passing through some of the highest points in our island - up to 2600ft - walking through amazing japonese cedar plantations and native vegetation, making the viewpoints mesmerizing! Begin your journey at the iconic Vista do Rei viewpoint, where you’ll admire the striking contrast of the blue and green lakes of Sete Cidades, one of the most famous natural wonders in Portugal. Head into the hills to enjoy the view over the stunning Lagoa do Fogo, followed by a visit to Caldeira Velha, a nature reserve, where you can relax in the hot springs. Then, visit the Gorreana Tea Plantation, the oldest tea plantation in Europe, where you’ll explore the factory and taste locally produced green and black teas. Stop at Pico do Ferro to enjoy the amazing view over Furnas valley. In the village of Furnas, see some volcanic phenomena, known as fumaroles. On your return to Ponta Delgada, travel along the scenic south coast with a stop in Vila Franca do Campo, where you’ll visit the beautiful Nossa Senhora da Paz chapel and take in unforgettable views of the islet.

Weather permitting, enjoy views of Pico da Vara, the highest peak on the island. Arrive in the tranquil village of Nordeste, where you will have free time to wander and discover this charming area, known for its beautiful gardens and traditional character. The tour continues with scenic stops along the east and south coasts, including a visit to Povoação, before returning with unforgettable views along the way.

The dramatic volcanic landscapes of Terceira Island offer a stunning backdrop for a hiking adventure. On this tour, spend a full day trekking around the Pico da Bagacina volcano and Lagoa do Negro, enjoy spectacular views of Pico Gaspar volcano and Lagoa das Patas, and explore natural wonders such as the cave of Natal and Guilherme Moniz caldera.

Our full-day car tour on Faial will take us all around the island in a fun and engaging way. We will visit Caldeira do Faial, Capelinhos Volcano, Fajã da Praia do Norte, as well as a few other places. Our itinerary is always a surprise. Since the tour is private, we have the flexibility to adapt each tour to our clients’ preferences and to the weather conditions. Our Guides love to share our island’s history and culture, and their knowledge about Azores in general. If you’re interested, we are happy to stop for a swim in the ocean during the summer or for a small hike. Our car tour on Faial is an 8 hours tour with traditional lunch included.

Join us for a full-day adventure exploring Terceira’s most stunning landscapes, charming towns, and must-see highlights at a relaxed pace. Start with breathtaking views from Monte Brasil, then head to the iconic viewpoints of Ilhéu das Cabras and Serra do Cume. Enjoy free time for lunch and exploring in Praia da Vitória (lunch not included), followed by a visit to the volcanic pools of Biscoitos. End the day with a local cheese tasting and stories about Terceira’s traditions. Pickup between 10:00 and 10:15 in Angra do Heroísmo. Return by late afternoon. If time allows, we’ll include bonus stops. A perfect way to connect with the real Terceira.
