Be prepared to have a brilliant day. The ride can get bumpy if you are on the front and wet at the back but it all adds to the experience. The guides were amazing the staff at string ray city were great too. Didn’t feel crowded at all once we were in the water with the rays. They are very friendly and felt safe the whole time. The beaches we visited were stunning and lunch was delicious. The only disappointment we had was we had a photos of the rays and was told we would get a bit of paper at the end so we could order the photo but we never received that

Scenic educational tour

A great way to hit the high points of the island, with plenty of insight from our guide Leo as well! Leo makes the trip a lot of fun, and customizes it to his guests....we wanted to stop at the beach but weren't planning on actually swimming, so he shortened that part of the trip and lengthened other aspects. Lunch was delicious, with the most gorgeous view from Shirley Heights! Definitely recommended!

Andrew was the driver transporting us too and from Stingray City. Very friendly and knowledgable. Couldn’t ask for a better guide. Scooby was the boat captain, who has a great sense of humor. An Unforgettable Experience

We had the best experience with Bernie. The open communication prior to our excursion was super helpful and Nichole was so sweet. We already had our own snorkel gear and Bernie helped ensure that our gear was clean and adjusted properly for the best experience. After walking into the water and getting practice with the scooter we were off exploring with Bernie for over an hour. The guides stayed with our group of 7 and ensured that we were all comfortable with being in the water and with the scooters. In all honestly, we would return to Antigua just to do this excursion again. Thank you for the unforgettable experience!

Akeem, the tour guide!

We just finished our tour with Akeem, our tour guide. We had an amazing time! Akeem toured us to the many neighborhoods of Antigua, we visited 3 local beaches, and had lunch at a local restaurant. Along the excursion Akeem shared his knowledge about local areas and the local vegetation. He was full of information! I highly recommend this tour if you're looking for a peep into Antigua. Our tour with Johnny was...

Our tour with Johnny was one of the highlights of our trip! He made it easy to see several highlights of Antigua at once. We particularly enjoyed the snorkeling since we were able to easily see several sea turtles, lobsters, and an eagle ray. We felt safe while in the water with Johnny and didn't find the swimming strenuous at all given the bay is protected and the water was very calm during our visit. Huge thanks to Johnny for the GoPro footage captured in the water!

The absolute best

This was our favorite excursion in our two week trip. Captain David, Mark, and Luca took the best care of us! The boat was very clean, the tour was a great pace. The snorkeling was amazing. We saw string rays, turtles, and beautiful fish. The hells gate stop was incredible. Lunch was home cooked and so yummy. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this trip. You will not be disappointed. It’s a full day and every detail is taken care of.

The weeks highlight

I chose this excursion specifically because reviews said the people were very helpful and interactive and that is exactly what we got. Quansie and Ethan were so personable, smart, and interesting. The water was too rough for the Cades reef but we went to a smaller reef which honestly wasn’t the worst thing because a few of us were first time snorkelers. They guided us through each step and made sure everyone was feeling relaxed and secure. We had the most delicious lobster lunch we were blown away by. And there was another gorgeous stop at which they continued to interact with us and maximize our experience. They were so knowledgeable about the island’s history/fun facts and gave us pointers toward all of the coolest sights to see. We highly recommend this one!

Great guide, smaller crowds, beautiful views!

We ended up with a very small group that was accomodated by the provider. Leo our guide was very personable and fun to talk to. He was knowledgeable about the sites visited and flexible to meet our needs/wants. Overall, looking at a map we saw about 1/2 the island. The van was clean and comfortable and air conditioned. It was noted that we were going off-season, so the crowds at the stops were not overwhelming which was nice.

Reef Riding in Antigua

This is the tour of all tours… you MUST do this activity!!! We went about 10 miles down the coast and out to Cades Reef! We snorkeled a while and saw incredible marine life! The boats are freaking incredible!! We were lucky enough to have Scooby go out with us on the tour and he was a blast! Driving & riding in the boat was the most fun! This tour was hands down our favorite!
