This was our favorite excursion during our vacation. We got to see so many turtles, fish, and corals. You can tell the guides really enjoy their jobs and want to make it a great experience. Also enjoyed getting to talk with our driver to/from the beach and during the snorkeling and learn so much about Antigua. Pictures came out great and we got them the same night.
Thank you to Bernie, Ishmael and Shamil for making this such an enjoyable experience. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Pick up from our resort was so convenient and the staff was so friendly. The 1 hour of snorkeling was action packed and we saw so much marine life! Family ages 11 and up, all did very well.

We were very excited for this excursion. It was very easy to book. I received great information and exact details about pickup - including driver name and direct contact number - and everything that was needed/included before the excursion day. I felt secure and well taken care of. My calls/texts were quickly responded to and all questions answered.
Unfortunately, our flight from Barbuda to Antigua was canceled along with all flights off the island- we found out it's a common occurrence, so travelers be aware! Sadly, there was no way for us to make it to our 2pm snorkeling adventure. I immediately called Nicole at Swimming with Turtles and she was kind and understanding, advised me to reach out to Viator to request a refund. Although, it was not 24 hour in advance Nicole gave Viator the ok to reimburse my excursion. Her understanding or the situation and Viator's great customer service made a bad and stressful situation more tolerable. I quickly received my money back.
Although I can't speak on the excursion, I can say that the customer service team at Swimming with Turtles was GREAT! You are in good hand.

Swimming with the turtles adventure was spectacular. Our personal guide, Rex, was very friendly, considerate and extremely knowledgeable. This was the absolute BEST snorkeling adventure we have done, and we’ve done quite a bit of snorkeling in many places!! Rex and the whole crew were amazing from pick up to drop off! Thanks for a great adventure!

By far one the best snorkeling experiences I've had. The staff was very personal Bernie an Renick were patience, charming and enjoyable!!
If you want a nice chill excursion but not a lot of hoop jumping this would be it. Walk out off the beach find the coves and areas where there's the turtles come back in.

My wife and I did the Swim With Turtles Snorkeling (not scooter version) with Scooter Snorkeling Antigua. It was truly amazing. Our guide was super knowledgeable and patient. The patience was key to the success in finding the sea life. We saw 4 or 5 Turtles, a couple sting rays, an eagle ray, Lion fish and much more. They take amazing photos for you so you dont need to worry about bringing anything. I highly recommend doing this tour if you ever want to see the beauty under water in Antigua

We chose this tour as I’ve always wanted to see turtles in their natural habitat.
Scooter snorkelling team were amazing.
They picked us up from near the cruise port and drove us there.
We explained to the team that we had to be back by 5pm as we were on a cruise ship.
The staff were amazing, they explained everything and Rex took us out as soon as we were ready and Bernie told us not to worry about timings as he was taking us back and would make sure we were back by 5pm.
This meant we could actually relax and enjoy the snorkelling.
Rex took me and my husband out and was patient in helping me put on my flippers and when my own mask broke he ran up to the centre to get me one of their ones.
He made sure we were both happy and safe throughout the session and always asked if we ok. We saw many fish, a stingray and two large turtles.
Rex was determined to find them for us to see.
He took many photos too so we didn’t have to take a camera.
He kept a check on the time throughout.
I felt very safe with Rex as I can become quite nervous in the water.
When we retuned to the office, they showed us where the bathroom and showers were and offered us a drink.
They explained that they were going to put towels on the seats so we could get straight off back to the port.
Bernie drove me and my husband back and gave us lots of information about the island, we arrived back by 4.45pm
Thank you so much to Rex and Bernie for a wonderful experience, you made us feel very safe and it felt like a very personable activity.
I would highly recommend you to everyone who has the pleasure of visiting Antigua.

We had a great time swimming with turtles, we saw two sea turtles and an eagle ray along with a lot of other beautiful fish and plants. Imran was an awesome guide in the water and a great driver to and from our resort. Super nice guy and very knowledgeable. So glad we did a guided tour

We signed up to do the Swimming With Turtles tour with Scooter Snorkelling but upgraded our experience to their awesome Scooter Snorkelling Tour for an extra USD 30 per person when we arrived, as we had not know about that tour when we booked. The team were extremely flexible and accommodating in letting us do this and we were super grateful, as it was unforgettable.
The pick up and drop off were bang on time and it was an easy short drive from our hotel in English Harbour to the team’s base on Galleon’s Beach. The whole crew had a warm, family feel, with a super friendly welcome. The team took us through a professional, clear, and detailed. instructional briefing. The ensured they understood our self-assessed confidence in the water and took great care to ensure that we had the right equipment and that it fitted correctly, even helping us to negotiate creating a water seal on our masks with Vaseline, due to our facial hair!
The main part of the tour lasts an hour and we were accompanied into the sea from the beach and given time to familiarise ourselves with our water scooters before we headed off for adventure. Our guides took us out over shipwrecks, we saw enormous turtles, all manner of marine life, and the Pillars of Hercules. Throughout the excursion, the team checked in on us and ensured that we felt safe and confident in the water. They also took brilliant photographs of the things we saw and of us on the tour, for free, meaning that we could concentrate on being fully immersed in the experience, safe in the knowledge that we had wonderful mementoes of this unforgettable tour.
Zooming around under the waves was so brilliant, it was like being in some kind of James Bond caper! It also enabled us to go much further than we could swim and to see which was fantastic. We would totally recommend this tour and company. They are the best!

This excursion was one of the hardest we have ever done. We are fit and to snorkel out and back against the current was ver tough. We had no idea the distance to and from. We only saw 2 turtles and would not recommend this to someone that would need A break. The guide was very good and the place was very disorganized and didn’t know who was doing what excursion. We had people in our group after learning the swim distance did not do it. It was an experience that I would never do again.

Absolutely Amazing! This was a dream come true, we swam with turtles, stingray and the most amazing fish and sea life. We went out with one other couple and the collection and drop off was included so this was seamless. This is a day that will stay with us for a lifetime, it was a dream come true and what a bonus to be emailed the photos within a few days! We travelled with a 16 and 13 year old and we can’t recommend this trip enough, we had so much fun! Mark, Cassie, Tom & Emily.

Really cool experience saw tons of fish, a shipwreck and 4 turtles. Included transportation is a plus. The normal scooters are awesome but the upgrade is worth it to someone who is very comfortable with diving etc
