It was easy to meet our driver Kev near the pier where independent tours congregate. Kev was really nice and informative by the way. He drove us to the southern side of Antigua and we got to see a lot of that part of the island on the way. Ffryes beach is very beautiful - the area is almost undeveloped and we had the beach almost all to ourselves. White sand and great ocean. The bar and restaurant serving that part of the beach is not crowded and the food and drink were great. The staff was very nice and welcoming. An excellent beach day in Antigua!

The facilities show wear and tear but the beach is pristine and the staff were friendly and informative. This includes one free alcoholic drink, but additional drinks were a great price ($4 beer).

An absolutely gorgeous beach and a delicious lunch prepared by a delightful group of friendly people.

The beach was very nice. The people were very cheerful and nice, the facilities were clean but rather run down
karin_h, Apr 2026
Enjoyed driving through local neighborhoods and having the beach to ourselves! Lunch was very tasty!
Kathleen_D, Apr 2026
It was informative and the most beautiful water. Lunch was good and staff was great. It was plenty of time to just relax and enjoy.
Mark_O, Apr 2026
Very easy access right off the ship to the meet up spot, where the transportation took us right away. It's about 25 minutes to the beach which was not crowded at all. Beach has no rocks and smooth sand going into the water. Lunch was really good, and they even had a live band playing with a singer.

Found the me meeting spot with relative ease, left early since all guests were checked in. The beach was beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Food was good, service very favorable.

Facilities are old but well kept. Secluded beach and very few people. Great food and reasonably priced drinks and great customer service. Highly recommend. Jan our tour guide was amazing. Ask for Jan if you take this tour. She made the ride over and back so much fun

Easy transfer to a beautiful beach with lunch. 3 beer + 2 shots of rum for $10 at the Tiki Bar. Excellent option for a shore excursion.
Keith_C, Apr 2026
Great value for the money. Excellent beach, with chairs and umbrella. Friendly family run tiki bar with a great homemade lunch and very good prices for drinks. We are going back next year!

The pickup at the pier was easy. An immediate left after entering the shopping area was along a dock walkway to the Zone 7 area. You
can see the big red number 7 from the ship and pier area. Less than 5 minutes after exiting the ship. The shore staff wore a bright yellow polo style shirt. Our driver was very knowledgeable about the island’s history. The trip to the beach was only about 20 minutes due to being on Easter Sunday. The beach was made up of light golden sand and turquoise water. Calm and warm. We arrived early than most visitors and had a nice selection of loungers and shape canopies. We had a cup of complimentary tropical punch and at noon we ate a single trip buffet style lunch of pineapple, garden salad, rice&beans, stir fried noodles and bbq chicken. It was a satisfying meal. The beachside facilities consisted of the restaurant and bar. It also has an outdoor shower to rinse off and flush toilets for use. Our return trip was also fast and easy. A nice trip and recommended.

No tour at all. Straight to the beach. Driver was quiet. Beach was nice. Chairs were old. Umbrellas were wood posts and plywood roofing.
John_M, Mar 2026
The guide was very good but the pick up not so good. 3 ships in so difficult to find guide,no notice board on display. Beach ok but lack of good sun loungers and umbrellas was difficult to find, not allocated on arrival. A free for all.

Overall the class beach break was a great experience, the only frustration was when we initially arrived and had to be searching for chairs and umbrella, I had expected it to be available, and waiting for our arrival. After that small hiccup, the day was perfect, the beach is clean, water clear, we had a fun day in the water, lunch was tasty as well. Our guide Ms P, gave tidbits of Antigua’s history which was appreciated, would definitely book again

As in all excursions , there is always that one or two people who don’t think the departure time applies to them. That aside, there was some initial confusion about who was in charge.
But, we all got it together and boarded a nice bus for a relatively short ride to a very lovely beach. Included was a welcome drink, beach chairs with umbrella, and a much better than anticipated buffet lunch. Getting a chair took some effort as I believe folks already on the beach were not supposed to have been using the chairs reserved for us.
If you walk to the far left of the beach , there is a great little spot to look for “sea glass” . Found an incredible amount. Busses were on time for the return and we arrived back at the pier in plenty of time.

This beach excursion was okay. The bus picked us up as scheduled from the cruise port and brought us to the beach. We were greeted with a rum punch and then proceeded to the beach, there were no available chairs. We had to look around for a beach attendant and then wait for him to bring us chairs. Not a big deal but they should know how many people booked the excursion for that day and should have chairs already setup. Our biggest gripe was that when lunch was ready, they made an announcement on the beach, we casually got our shoes on to go get lunch and when we turned around there were at least 50 people standing in line. Apparently, the island tours also come here for lunch. That would have been good to know in advance as we would have gotten our shoes on and moved faster to get ahead of the tours. When we finally got to the front of the line everything was gone. They told us to wait there, went to the back room, and after several minutes they did bring out more food, and it was tasty but again, they should have known how many people were coming and should have had enough food in advance. The beach itself was very nice, a little crowded with lots of other chair vendors, but very clean.

This section of the coastline has a beautiful and peaceful beach. The area is very clean and the crystal clear water was incredible. If you want to get off the cruise ship and enjoy a beach day, you can't go wrong with this excursion for the price.
Geryl_O, Mar 2026
We were very happy with this excursion. The beach was really nice, we got 2 chairs and an umbrella. Lunch was good and there was plenty of food. 2 rum punches. Music as well. Definitely worth it
HarryRoss_F, Mar 2026
Beautiful beach with chairs and shade. It was quiet and peaceful until they turned music on and ruined the wonderful peaceful beach day. The food was good and great value!
Suzanne_S, Mar 2026
Fabulous experience. Excellent driver, helpful informative and friendly. Good vehicle, safe driver. FFRYES beach was beautiful- unspoilt, quiet and with a great beach bar/restaurant. Loungers, umbrella and lunch included (and rum punch!). On request they happily extended our time at the beach. Thank you Heavenly Tours

'P' collected us with a smile and took us to Ffryses Beachvia a couple of interesting sights, where she took us through the order of the day. Great Beach. Great lunch. Great place.
Margaret_L, Mar 2026
Nice transfer to the beach with a “tour” on the way there and back. Learned so much from Jocelyn. Beautiful, small quiet beach, music started around lunchtime and a great island lunch! I would do it again!!
Janel_P, Feb 2026
It was a quiet beach day. The water and beach were great. Chairs and umbrella were provided but shade was sparse. The lunch was okay. The tour company was friendly.
ANDREA_H, Feb 2026
This was our 2nd time on this excursion. Both times were perfect. Staff was great. Good was delicious.
Jennifer_C, Feb 2026
This was a very affordable way to get beach time in a beautiful place with little planning. The guides were easy to find when we got off the cruise ship. We were in a taxi bus to get there and back, which was comfortable and air conditioned.
Once we arrived, we were given a welcome rum punch. From there guidance wasn’t really given. We found loungers in the shade under a tree. There were some under umbrellas but not all were. If you really need shade, just know you may need to move under a tree.
The beach is gorgeous. Their spot is next to a resort’s beach area. Further down the other direction it gets much more crowded.
The lunch was pretty good. My husband loved the chicken. They also have a great deal on beer.
I’d absolutely do this again. You really can’t beat what you get for the price.
Ellen_G, Feb 2026
Our beach day was really nice. Easy to find our driver at the cruise pier and she gave us island information as we were driving there. The beach area we were brought to was beautiful…the price includes loungers and an umbrella, which were just meh, (somewhat outdated) a lunch consisting of chicken, rice, noodles and salad was ok, but c’mon people it was a beach bar and was included in the price! I was there for the beach experience which was clean, lovely ocean and white sand. Considering the price includes all of the above, I think it was a very nice experience!
Malcolm_C, Feb 2026
Easy to follow instructions to meeting point 5 mins from Cruise ship.
Travelled in comfy 6 seater a/c taxi with great driver Jan.
25 mins later arrived at beautiful beach. Free drink at beach bar and 2 loungers and umbrellas provided.
Sea lovely and beach unspoilt. Staff all friendly at bar.
After relaxing on beach had included lunch which was lovely then Caribbean band started up which capped perfect day out.
Recommend to anyone.
Michael_I, Feb 2026
Good value. They could use more umbrellas, but there was enough shade by the trees (barely). We'd do this excursion again, beautiful beach, highly recommended.
Gerald_F, Feb 2026
Beautiful white sand beach. People who run the beach tiki bar are delightful. Lunch was good. Directions for departures were good. The or were chairs in the shade on the beach. Not sure if the excursion included umbrellas but you were able to get one.
Tyrone_B, Feb 2026
Overall the beach is decent and the water comfortable for swimming. The tour driver was very friendly and helpful. The Lunch was plentiful though for our taste not top quality...and several guests besides us wasted a lot of it...and at one point they ran out of Chicken and had to wait a bit for more to come.
The one thing guests should be aware, is there is a Lady, not sure if she is a hostess, but seems to be a longtime fixture there, I think they call her Mama or something...but she was singing constantly. It seems as if this is meant to be engaging and entertaining, but for guests who are trying to relax in their beach chairs, it can be a little off-putting and disconcerting the amount of singing she does, walking around to all the guest groups, for almost the entire 4 hours. I think she should be encouraged to do a little less to let the guests enjoy some peace, quiet and the "white noise" of the ocean.
Overall good value excursion, but one should also be attentive to time of year and weather, as the rain came in several bursts while we were there, so we didnt get as much sun as we desires.
