Step inside Amiens Cathedral and explore one of Europe’s great Gothic landmarks through a vivid, story-rich self-guided tour. Begin at the west façade, where the carved Last Judgment unfolds with angels, devils, and the welcoming “Beau Dieu,” alongside scenes pilgrims once read like a stone manuscript. Inside, follow the story of Saint Firmin and the miraculous rediscovery of his intact body, then trace the life and martyrdom of Saint John the Baptist. Discover the brilliance of Gothic engineering —soaring vaults, flying buttresses, and stained glass that turns sunlight into narrative, filling the vast interior with colour and life.
