Our tour guide, Brigitte, was wonderful and so knowledgeable! We went on the tour because my son graduated with a degree in history and wanted to learn more about WWI. He said the tour was the best part of our trip to France. I would highly recommend Brigitte to anyone wanting a personal tour guide for WWI. She was simply incredible!!!

Brigette was fantastic - so knowledgeable and interesting. It was 36 degrees today, and she checked with us in advance that we were still OK to go ahead with the tour. She brought water for us and sought out the shady spots where she could. Brigette's English is brilliant, her explanations of the Somme, the Battle itself, events leading up to it and the total devastation that followed really brought everything to life. We would thoroughly recommend this tour, particularly if Bridgette is leading it!

It was pouring with rain but I found that it was just the right background on which to visit these sad locations. the rain and mud made it a bit easier to imagine the plight of all the young boys who lived – or didn't – through that horrible ordeal.
Our guide, Brigitte De Cuyper, was lovely, very kind, enthusiastic and knowledgeable.

This was an amazing experience, particularly because of our tour guide Bridgette. She was absolutely fantastic. We have done many many tours and Bridgette was by far the best we have encountered. Very enthusiastic and accommodating. She made this fantastic tour that much more enjoyable and memorable. Bridgette was so honoured and enthusiastic that we were from Newfoundland. Our guide Brigitte was excellent. She met us at the Somme museum in Albert, showed us around, before driving us around various memorials and landmarks in the area. We had a couple of places we wanted to stop off and she tailored the tour accordingly. It was a great day, and Brigitte was very knowledgeable about the area and history.

Brigitte's (our guide) knowledge and enthusiasm. We had a mix up with our train from Paris to Amiens, which resulted in our being nearly an hour late but she waited for us at Albert station
and could not have been more
