Day Trips from Alesund to Mt. Aksla

Focus on the natural scenery along Norway’s Atlantic Road rather than the road in front of you with this private tour from Ålesund. Travel over and past the fjords north of Ålesund to reach the famous Atlantic Ocean Road, a coastal route that lets you hop across a series of islands connected by eight bridges.

Discover Norway’s picturesque landscape in comfort and style–and avoid the stress of planning your own itinerary–on this luxury minibus tour from Ålesund to Trollstigen with stops at ten different locations and your lunch and drinks included. Take in mountain and fjord scenery at viewpoints around Storfjorden and Gudbrandsdalsjuvet, learn about history and culture in Sjøholt and Øvstestølen, and hear plenty of stories from your local guide along the way.

The blend of world-famous landscapes with storytelling and hidden gems will make this private tour from Alesund truly special for you! Trollstigen’s 11 hairpin bends are breathtaking enough, but your journey also reveals lush valleys, Norway’s “Strawberry Valley” of Valldal, rugged mountain passes, and dizzying viewpoints that few visitors ever forget. Along the way, your personal guide shares fascinating local stories of trolls — not just as mythical creatures, but as a cultural legacy that still inspires books, films, and modern folklore. Unlike standard bus tours, you’ll travel in comfort at your own pace, stop at the best scenic points without rush, and enjoy time for photos, short walks, and even seasonal tastings. By combining dramatic landscapes, cultural tales, and the intimacy of a private experience, this tour captures the very essence of Norway: wild, magical, and unforgettable.
