Awesome private tour for a solo female traveler. Tour Guide Amanda and driver Somesh were both accommodating and extremely attentive. Amaan has great knowledge of Agra, Taj Mahal, and baby Taj Mahal. Amaan is that tour guide who provides history and a GREAT picture taker! Somesh, is an excellent driver. He was always nearby so I didn’t have to walk far in the India heat! Goldi was an excellent...

Goldi was an excellent driver. Even though we had a slight miscommunication about meeting up in the morning, he waited for us patiently. He helped provide some introduction about Fatehpur Sikri ( because we did not hire a tour guide), and also delivered us to our hotel safely and expediently. Highly recommend his services! A note about Fatehpur Sikri - if you do not pre-book a guide, the guides there for hire can be quite aggressive. It's especially aggressive in the free area ( where the mosque and tomb are). I did like seeing the tomb, especially as some locals were making wishes there at the moment, but there are a LOT of touts and a lot of pressure. The main palace (the paid area) is very impressive though, and fun to wander around for an hour or two!

Zeeshan contacted us the day before the tour and double-checked all the details and confirmed transport. On the day everything went smoothly. Shan expertly navigated us through checkpoints and queues, sharing fascinating information and history along the way. He knew all the best spots for views and photos and took some excellent pictures of us. The Taj Mahal is truly stunning and the changing light as the sun rose was breathtaking. We were given 30 minutes at the end to explore and capture more memories. This is a highly recommended tour.

Great transportation

Ajay was such an excellent and attentive driver! He took great care of us and even made an extra stop we arranged prior to for Tomb of Akbar! We appreciated that so much. A beautiful trip to a must see many times monument with the amazing Guide Ankur Sharma

It’s a totally doable tour for sure. The peace the place has, is something that always has been a bit of food for the soul. To see the iconic Taj Mahal, with a private guide who went at our pace and of course, answered all our questions as well. Viator had fixed the tour via Markable Tours who have offices in Delhi and Agra. The Guide we were assigned was Ankur Sharma, who was simply amazing. He has a very easy manner and a very nice way of explaining things. He took us to spots in the Taj Mahal complex which made our trip all the more interesting. Even though we have been here several times before, we got to learn new and important aspects of this very beautiful monument. He kept us engaged while giving us the space to take in the place and the beauty of the setting and construction, which is a difficult thing to do, for sure Even though it is touted as a monument to love, I believe it is a monument built by architects and builders, who were perhaps spiritual sort of persons and cared deeply about building a structure with the right energies. Seeing it with Ankur Sharma made it all the more enjoyable.

Excellent experience. Starting with our driver Shahid who was very good, very personable, the drive there was very entertaining since it is mostly a road going through small towns. Our guide was Sumit and his guide skills were on par with his photography suggestions. Both of them were very attentive and thoughtful.

The only way to see Agra

This is absolutely the best way to see and explore Agra. All day we felt comfortable and well taken care of. Our guide, Jitu, was extremely personable and knew the history and facts about everything we saw. He catered the information we learned and the activities we did to our tastes. Our driver, Vijay, was so kind and we felt so safe when he was driving us around. We got to experience everything on the itinerary but never felt rushed. On top of all of that, Jitu was an excellent photographer. We’re going to have amazing photos to share with our family and friends.
