Amazing tour!!
We had a blast on this tour! Our guide, Stuart was awesome! He gave us so much information and really let us set the pace for our day. One person in our group uses a wheelchair for some of the longer walks/stops and it all went very smoothly. I would highly recommend this tour.

Inverness guide tour
George took us to numerous locations that a standard large tour bus wouldn't typically accommodate. We were delighted and impressed that he served as our guide. We observed many attractions that weren't included in the standard tour itinerary or our original experience. However, we were thrilled that he incorporated so many additional elements. He shared extensive insights and historical context with our group.

Full day of fun!
Wonderful experience! Loved the small group, the amount of information, level of fun and our wonderful tour guide (George). We went to a different castle which was probably better than Inverness. Beautiful Gardens and great lunch. Thanks so much!!

Culloden Moor
Clan gravestone on the Culloden Battlefield in the Scottish Highlands.
  • To ensure entry, it’s best to book Culloden Battlefield tickets in advance.

  • Purchase a family ticket (£42.00) if you have two adults and two or more children; it may be cheaper than purchasing individual tickets.

  • Consider investing in a National Trust membership if you plan on visiting multiple National Trust sites in Scotland; it could save you lots of money in the long run.

  • The center and the battlefield are both wheelchair accessible.

  • Audio guides are available, so visitors can take a self-guided tour of the outdoor battle site.

  • It’s best to wear warm clothing to walk around the windswept moor where the battle took place.

  • The battlefield has a cafe for light bites, and an above-average gift shop that sells local products including an exclusive Culloden Battlefield Highland Malt.
