An excellent tour of the waterfalls and National Park. The minibus that collected us from our hotel was air conditioned, clean and comfortable. Our guide Terezija was kind, courteous and knowledgeable. We were the only ones on the tour so it felt very special. The National Park is stunning.
The park was beautiful and pictures do not do it justice. A wonderful opportunity to enjoy nature’s wonders. And we appreciated so much more on this tour so we could understand what we were looking at.

best trip and worth it! highlight of our cruise and Kreso our guide was by far the most memorable and informative guide we had on our entire trip. he spoke clear english and knew a lot about his country and the place we visited. he kept the pace easy and not rushed. he got us back to the ship with plenty of time to spare. you cannot visit croatia without going to Piltvice national park. the beauty is unmatched anywhere in the world. for those that have a bit of trouble walking this tour required 5 miles of hilly walking on trails. the hills were not very extreme but it does require walking 4-5miles. but the beauty all around made us forget about it especially for our 8yr old.
Do this tour!! Plitvice is breathtaking!! We arrived in Zadar via cruise ship and I was nervous about the timing, but everything went perfectly and we were back in plenty of time! It was about a two-hour drive aboard a nicely air-conditioned van/shuttle bus. We had a small group of about 10. They gave us ample time to explore the park and I took a million pictures! It is stunning! The tour guides were friendly and professional. Highly recommend!
This tour is a detailed overview of this fascinating destination. Therasa is a passionate and knowledgeable guide.
It can be strenuous with navigating multiple steps , rocks and tree roots but on our private tour Teri was very accommodating and rerouted us for our limitations. We were able to get ahead of the tour busses and saw the museum and grounds without the crowd. We had perfect weather, but I can imagine in the heat of the summer. It could be a bit difficult. The waterfalls are beautiful!
Our day trip to Plitvice Lakes National Park from Zadar was one of the highlights of our trip to Croatia. The transportation was smooth and well organized, and the park itself was absolutely breathtaking. The waterfalls, crystal-clear turquoise lakes, and scenic walking paths looked even more incredible in person than in photos.
The amount of walking was very manageable and gave us plenty of opportunities to take in the views and stop for pictures along the way. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and kept the day running seamlessly without ever feeling rushed. Even with the popularity of the park, the experience felt peaceful and immersive in nature.
We would absolutely recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Zadar — it was a perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and unforgettable scenery.
This is an all-day excursion that is well-worth the time and cost. We were picked up at our hotel in Zadar at 7:30 am and rode in a van to the park. Due to road construction the trip took a good 2+ hours but our guide, Teresya, was very friendly & knowledgeable about her country & we enjoyed the ride. The tour of the park was excellent & Teresya knew the best way to go to avoid the crowds. There was another couple with us for the day so it was a small group experience. Lunch was provided for us and there was a lot of walking around the lakes so wear comfortable sneakers (hiking shoes aren’t necessary) and dress in layers. We each had a daypack to carry our lunch & extra clothes. Bring your credit card/euros if you want to buy coffee/snacks or souvenirs.
Great tour! Our guide was very flexible with our travel plans and knew the best way to navigate the park. We highly recommend this tour and the tour group.
Very beautiful Place
Teritzia was a sweet and knowledgeable guide. She has been guiding for 20 years and has a great love for this spot. Her enthusiasm was refreshing to witness.
Terezija was a fabulous tour guide. Very well organised and ensured that our day was very comfortable. Terezija met us at the Old Town, and gave us a break visiting live bears on the way to Plitvice Lakes. Terezija provided us with a substantial packed lunch and had great commentary that we appreciated. Terezija was a pleasure to spend the day with and her English is very clear and easy to understand. Would highly recommend Terezija to be your guide.
This is the best experience in Zadar. It took 2 hours to get there from the port, but it was well worth it. The park is absolutely beautiful and looks like the Garden of Eden at the end. 100% recommended

A lot of walking on uneven terrain. Was a long travel time, but the guides were very knowledgeable in the whole history of the area
The lakes are a beautiful and iconic destination in Croatia. Our guide,.Terezija (probably didn’t spell that right) was fantastic. It was 52° when we arrived at the top of the mountain, so I had to buy a sweatshirt because I had not planned ahead. Our tour started at the top of the mountain and worked its way down and we didn’t encounter very much in the way of crowds at all. It’s just the opposite if you start down and work your way up. It’s a beautiful forested walk at 16 lakes spill one into the other with all sorts of waterfalls to see along the path. There’s also a short 20 minute boat ride to get from the upper lakes to the lower lakes.. All in all a highly recommended experience if you are looking for a day activity in the port of Zadar.
Timely and friendly correspondence answered all my concerns. The best choice to Plitvice park is going from Zadar port, has a shorter drive. We were in a very small group, and the schedule was perfect for our cruise excursion. Great tour company and excellent guide Terezija, she took us to the best viewpoints where we took the nicest photos. Beautiful park and a wonderful visit!!
We had an amazing private tour with Terezija at Plitvice Lakes. She picked us up from our hotel and we headed off to the National Park.
It did take about 2 hours to get to the lakes but we enjoyed the drive with Terezija’s easy going personality and her interesting info about Croatia, Zadar, etc. Once at the park she did a wonderful job of navigating us through the lakes making sure to stop at the best places for views, photos and to share interesting information about the area, lakes and waterfalls. We could not have asked for a better experience. If you can organize a private tour I highly recommend it!

Terezija was awesome. Very responsive before the tour about questions and super professional during. She speaks Croatian, English, and German fluently and is clearly really passionate and knowledgeable about the lakes. Lunch was good too. We had an awesome day there. Highly recommend the lakes and this tour.
Well worth a visit. Knowledgable tour guide and the tour continued despite the heavy rain! Fair play! My advice would be to check the weather and pack a poncho/umbrella when visiting outside summer season. Nevertheless - we had a great time!!
Plitvice Lakes National Park is an amazing place! Even on a drizzly rainy day, it was a beautiful work of nature. Our guide took us thru the park to see both the upper lakes and lower lake system. We were on a cruise, so she made sure we were back in time for departure. It was an hour & a half drive each way from the cruise terminal, but worth the time. This park was one of the highlights of our entire vacation. Thank you Layla and Jenny, our driver for this amazing experience!

Great trip to see the park and waterfalls! They picked several of us from the cruise ship port and returned us safely. Unfortunately, we did not have time to see the upper falls due to construction traffic, high winds shutting the tunnel roads, and crowd delays in the park, but the guide was great and we saw some awesome waterfalls in this amazing park. One thing to note is that much of the trail is on boards over the water that may be difficult to navigate for anyone with mobility issues.
This excursion was memorable from start to finish! Our guide Laila was waiting at the cruise ship dock as promised and we boarded a very comfortable air conditioned bus, with six other guests for Plitvice National Park. We did a walk around the Upper & Lower lakes and the colors of the water and waterfalls is amazing! A lunch was provided. Can’t thank our driver Luca and our guide Laila enough for a perfect excursion.
Fantastic exoerience at a very unique sight. Terezjia from Romeo & julietta is such a lovely sincere person, very knowledgeable and always helpful about Plitvice and Zadar. A great day out. I would recommend to anyone visiting Zadar.
One of the most beautiful lake systems in the world, guides were amazing, strongly recommend this tour.
Very cross. We paid a lot for. A full day tour, but waited 30 mins for a late couple. Then we waited another 15 minutes on the motorway for their taxi to catch us. Once we arrived we had a coffee and gift shop stop which was not needed. We were finished at 2 pm as we were told we had no more time. Then there was another coffee and gift time. We almost missed the ship and we did not have a full day as advertised. We also paid 40 euros entrsnce, a waste of time. Not a good experience and very expensive. Someone's lateness spoiled our expensive day out

Thank you for your review! We appreciate every feedback we get and we try to improve our service with each new group. However, some things are just out of our hands. Sometimes when coordinating a large group from a cruise ship, it is difficult to do it without small delays. We do everything that is in our power, inform the customers and give a detailed plan for the excursion, but sometimes we come upon small obstacles on our way. In our defense and regarding your complaint, we have to clarify that waiting for the guests that came with the taxi was minimum (up to 5 min) and the tour of the Plitvice Lakes was as planned. We have a specially designed tour for our customers from cruise ships due to the limited time for returning to the ship, which enables you to see all the main spots and enjoy Plitvice lakes to the fullest. If you left 30 min before, the route would have still been the same, given we were able to provide the service fully that day. Nonetheless, following your request and pursuant to your complaint, we accepted it and made a refund of half of the amount to your account. I hope this did not ruin your experience of Plitvice Lakes, since our guides and the rest of the guests were pleased with the day spent with us :-)
