Very beautiful Place
Teritzia was a sweet and knowledgeable guide. She has been guiding for 20 years and has a great love for this spot. Her enthusiasm was refreshing to witness.

Terezija was a fabulous tour guide. Very well organised and ensured that our day was very comfortable. Terezija met us at the Old Town, and gave us a break visiting live bears on the way to Plitvice Lakes. Terezija provided us with a substantial packed lunch and had great commentary that we appreciated. Terezija was a pleasure to spend the day with and her English is very clear and easy to understand. Would highly recommend Terezija to be your guide.

This is the best experience in Zadar. It took 2 hours to get there from the port, but it was well worth it. The park is absolutely beautiful and looks like the Garden of Eden at the end. 100% recommended

The lakes are a beautiful and iconic destination in Croatia. Our guide,.Terezija (probably didn’t spell that right) was fantastic. It was 52° when we arrived at the top of the mountain, so I had to buy a sweatshirt because I had not planned ahead. Our tour started at the top of the mountain and worked its way down and we didn’t encounter very much in the way of crowds at all. It’s just the opposite if you start down and work your way up. It’s a beautiful forested walk at 16 lakes spill one into the other with all sorts of waterfalls to see along the path. There’s also a short 20 minute boat ride to get from the upper lakes to the lower lakes.. All in all a highly recommended experience if you are looking for a day activity in the port of Zadar.

Timely and friendly correspondence answered all my concerns. The best choice to Plitvice park is going from Zadar port, has a shorter drive. We were in a very small group, and the schedule was perfect for our cruise excursion. Great tour company and excellent guide Terezija, she took us to the best viewpoints where we took the nicest photos. Beautiful park and a wonderful visit!!

We had an amazing private tour with Terezija at Plitvice Lakes. She picked us up from our hotel and we headed off to the National Park.
It did take about 2 hours to get to the lakes but we enjoyed the drive with Terezija’s easy going personality and her interesting info about Croatia, Zadar, etc. Once at the park she did a wonderful job of navigating us through the lakes making sure to stop at the best places for views, photos and to share interesting information about the area, lakes and waterfalls. We could not have asked for a better experience. If you can organize a private tour I highly recommend it!

Terezija was awesome. Very responsive before the tour about questions and super professional during. She speaks Croatian, English, and German fluently and is clearly really passionate and knowledgeable about the lakes. Lunch was good too. We had an awesome day there. Highly recommend the lakes and this tour.

Well worth a visit. Knowledgable tour guide and the tour continued despite the heavy rain! Fair play! My advice would be to check the weather and pack a poncho/umbrella when visiting outside summer season. Nevertheless - we had a great time!!

Plitvice Lakes National Park is an amazing place! Even on a drizzly rainy day, it was a beautiful work of nature. Our guide took us thru the park to see both the upper lakes and lower lake system. We were on a cruise, so she made sure we were back in time for departure. It was an hour & a half drive each way from the cruise terminal, but worth the time. This park was one of the highlights of our entire vacation. Thank you Layla and Jenny, our driver for this amazing experience!

Great trip to see the park and waterfalls! They picked several of us from the cruise ship port and returned us safely. Unfortunately, we did not have time to see the upper falls due to construction traffic, high winds shutting the tunnel roads, and crowd delays in the park, but the guide was great and we saw some awesome waterfalls in this amazing park. One thing to note is that much of the trail is on boards over the water that may be difficult to navigate for anyone with mobility issues.

This excursion was memorable from start to finish! Our guide Laila was waiting at the cruise ship dock as promised and we boarded a very comfortable air conditioned bus, with six other guests for Plitvice National Park. We did a walk around the Upper & Lower lakes and the colors of the water and waterfalls is amazing! A lunch was provided. Can’t thank our driver Luca and our guide Laila enough for a perfect excursion.

Fantastic exoerience at a very unique sight. Terezjia from Romeo & julietta is such a lovely sincere person, very knowledgeable and always helpful about Plitvice and Zadar. A great day out. I would recommend to anyone visiting Zadar.

Very cross. We paid a lot for. A full day tour, but waited 30 mins for a late couple. Then we waited another 15 minutes on the motorway for their taxi to catch us. Once we arrived we had a coffee and gift shop stop which was not needed. We were finished at 2 pm as we were told we had no more time. Then there was another coffee and gift time. We almost missed the ship and we did not have a full day as advertised. We also paid 40 euros entrsnce, a waste of time. Not a good experience and very expensive. Someone's lateness spoiled our expensive day out

Thank you for your review! We appreciate every feedback we get and we try to improve our service with each new group. However, some things are just out of our hands. Sometimes when coordinating a large group from a cruise ship, it is difficult to do it without small delays. We do everything that is in our power, inform the customers and give a detailed plan for the excursion, but sometimes we come upon small obstacles on our way. In our defense and regarding your complaint, we have to clarify that waiting for the guests that came with the taxi was minimum (up to 5 min) and the tour of the Plitvice Lakes was as planned. We have a specially designed tour for our customers from cruise ships due to the limited time for returning to the ship, which enables you to see all the main spots and enjoy Plitvice lakes to the fullest. If you left 30 min before, the route would have still been the same, given we were able to provide the service fully that day. Nonetheless, following your request and pursuant to your complaint, we accepted it and made a refund of half of the amount to your account. I hope this did not ruin your experience of Plitvice Lakes, since our guides and the rest of the guests were pleased with the day spent with us :-)

Beautiful waterfall views. Leyla was a sweet, enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. This excursion required about 5 miles of walking on uneven surfaces and steps up and down, mostly with hand railings. Recommend wearing sport shoes and not sandals. Lunch included a sandwich, apple, pastry, juice box and a bottle of water. Lunch was adequate but had to carry bag for 2 hours to the lunch spot. Should have been advised to bring a backpack to carry, or better yet, tour operator could have delivered lunch to lunch location. You could buy more drinks and better lunch items at luncheonette. Wished we had longer lunch break. This National Park was crowded but the crowds and the heat did not detract from our enjoyment of the spectacular waterfalls.

Our guide Marta was wonderful! We enjoyed spending the day with her touring the national park which was breathtaking! Only one caution, let people who book the tour know that it’s a lot of strenuous walking.

The falls were stunning with beautiful pathways. Our guide was knowledgeable and very good at keeping the herd together. Her timing was excellent, as we had a hard end time and she efficiently utilized the time. Would do this tour again.

Marta was a fantastic guide (and driver!) We loved every minute of our hike around the lower lakes and the upper lakes. She kept us amused with her stories and interesting facts about the park - her enthusiasm and sense of humor were infectious. The pacing of the day was perfect, as was the weather. Our small group (5 people) bonded quickly and we all had a wonderful time. We highly recommend Romeo and Juliet Travel - great people, great tours!

We had a great day with Marta and our small group exploring Plitvice a truly magical place! Marta was on time pick up and very bubbly person who showed many interesting things!
Lunch for me was just ok , big bun with ham and cheese , apple and a little croissant, orange juice and water but we only had 30 minutes so was ok
Glad we did the upper part first! Lots of walking and missed the crowds

Breathtaking! The only word that can describe Plitvice Lakes. It was more magical than we anticipated. Even scattered showers didn't put a damper on the trip. This is one tour I would tell everyone not to miss!

The waterfalls were breathtaking. Our tour guide was great. She was very easy to understand and walked at a comfortable pace. On the way back she asked if we wanted to be dropped off in town which we did.

Plitviče National Park is one of the parks that is a must see when in Croatia. Terezija is an excellent tour guide from start to finish. She packed us a great lunch and took us in her car to the park with a stopover at a lovely restaurant for coffee. Overall, she took care of us very well and we had an amazing time at the park. I can’t recommend Romeo and Juliet travel company enough for any excursions from Zadar. Thank you very much, Terezija, for extending your hospitality to us in the Old Town and especially the drop-off at the airport and hotel. Take care and hope to see you again.

This tour was amazing! The tour guide, Terezija was very friendly and nice. She told me about the history in Zadar during driving to the park. Also in the park, I was able to know rich history about it. If I had been there on my own, I wouldn’t have been able to know that. We avoided the crowds so we monopolised the beautiful landscape. Thanks to Terezija, I could fully enjoy the park!!!

The trip was most enjoyable with our tour guide Terezija . Picked up on time and had the mist enjoyable day with her . She knew exactly where to go and what to do . I would recommend everyone to get a guide to do the Plitvice Lakes . We really appreciated Terezija picking us up and taking us as we had her all to ourselves for the day .
