Nice, laid-back tour. There were only four people on the tour, which felt perfect, and there was a good balance between being guided and being left on our own. I wish we had a little bit more time on the moors, but on the whole, it was well-paced and way easier than trying to figure out how to get to all these places on our own.

Greg is an amazing driver and guide. Full of knowledge of York and its area. The whole trip was excellent Greg changed the timings slightly at our request so we could spend a short time in Goathland taking photos of the Heartbeat location. He saw us on board the steam train and met us at Whitby Station to arrange final pick up. Can highly recommend.

We had a fabulous day with Greg on one of his small group tours. He really helped me out with my booking when I had a small problem and I knew from them that we had made the right booking for our trip. His minivan was really comfortable his knowledge of the local area absolutely brilliant. The places we costed were beautiful with lots of opportunities to stall for photos. Couldn’t recommend this tour or any other Greg offers highly enough. Highlight of our trip to York.

An absolutely worthwhile way to see and experience North Yorkshire! If you're trying to decide between this and another similar tour, I can confidently say that going with a small group (max 7 people) was worth it. Greg is owner/operator and was a great guide and host. Highly recommend this tour!

We enjoy small group tours as part of our travel, and this one is truly exceptional. Greg owns and operates his own small company and the personal touches of this tour made it a truly memorable experience. As someone who grew up in and around York, Greg was able to give us not only the typical insights but also his own experiences of different places and how they have changed (or not) over time. He was a perfect host- knew all our names- engaged us all in great conversation and made personal recommendations. He clearly cares very much that every guest has a positive experience. And, all the basics you'd hope for were done flawlessly: an immaculate, well maintained vehicle; a strong understanding of logistics; and all the practicalities taken care of without fuss. This was an easy, relaxing, pleasant day with a great structure and lots of free time to make the day our own. A memorable small tour experience better than you'd ever get from a larger company!

Greg was a wonderful driver and guide. The vehicle was easy to spot at the meeting point. Greg was friendly and full of good information, and was also willing to answer our other questions about the region. Whitby is a nice town and there was more than enough time to see the abbey and get fish and chips. There were other nice stops for photos along the moors and in little villages. The steam train was fun as well. Highly recommend.

Being a Yorkshire lad living in Canada for the past twenty years or so I decided to take my family on a little adventure, a this adventure was something else. What an incredible experience it was. Greg was extremely knowledgeable during the entire trip. I saw a whole new side of Yorkshire that I never knew existed. Thank you, Greg.
The only thing I would suggest as we are from Yorkshire originally we would’ve liked maybe five or ten minutes in the famous Aidenfield Arms in Goathland before catching the steam train.
Still 5/5. Maybe see you again some day in some other adventure.

Having a small group was a nice touch, Greg, our driver & tour guide, was very friendly, and knowledgeable and supplied us with alot of little anecdotes.
The Steam Train was like going back in time!
