A great day in Xi’an with a wonderful guide

We had a really great tour with our guide Summer. We visited the Huaqing Palace which is beautiful and lots of interesting history which our guide shared with us. We then visited the terracotta warriors which was another fascinating place and again so much history and very interesting to see the warriors up close and learn all about them. We then had time to eat dinner in the market before heading to the “song of ever lasting sorrow” performance. This show is not to be missed - it is so mesmerising and beautifully performed. We had a really good day, and our guide had even gone to the trouble of leaving a gift for us at our hotel when we returned which was a very lovely gesture. Would highly recommend this tour.

Terrible planning/coordination.

The guide was AMAZING. But the tour company was TERRIBLE. They were very slow to respond via messages and updated me terribly. They gave me the wrong number to the guide and booked a 6 hour gap in between my events. They literally expected the contracted guide/driver to keep me company for over 6 hours with nothing planned. Extremely frustrating. No fault to the guide/driver though as they both tried to help me with the company and did their best to accommodate me.
