Bruce was an extremely friendly and lovely guide. We were really happy he shared his knowledge about china history with us during the drive. He also helped us with tickets and suggested which itinerary we should do on the mountain, which would definitively take us a lot of time if we did it on our own. We highly recommend you to book a tour with him. You will enjoy the ride.

This is a trip I recommend to anyone travelling in China

A Nice Ride to Mt Hua

This is only a ride to the mountain for solo hiking which served my purpose as the vehicle was clean and nice. Be prepared for credit card machines that don’t work despite there being a visa and Mastercard displayed as being taken (not). The hiking at Mt Hua was wonderful despite the issue with the payment at the beginning. The driver gave me good directions for my solo hike but couldnt understand why I expected the credit card machine to work without getting upset at the cashier wanting me to pay but not having a working system in place. Go figure…. but yes Americans expect your machines and systems to work if you have a sign that says you accept credit cards, especially if you want to be paid.

The hiking route is safe and well sign posted. The views at the top are breathtaking and if you are feeling a bit more daring, give the plank walk a try. Bruce and his team go out of their way to give you the best information for this tour. In my case, what time to get to the plank walk (the queue is long), best view points and are very laid back/friendly throughout.

Bruce was an excellent driver, had great English, a beautiful/ clean car and truly made the trip extremely enjoyable! I recommend Bruce if you want to go anyway in Xi’an! He knows it very well. We had a lovely time at Mt. Hua and the Terracotta warriors.

Bruce is very nice and helpful guide. Proper instructions and details in advance were provided by him. Punctual on pick up time. He welcomed with such a friendly atmosphere, I had a fantastic start! The tour was extremely good, very flexible appreciate this! and for that, he deserves a special thanks. I had two great days there, which obviously also added up to the experience. Bruce is such a warm personality and highly motivated guide recommendable!. I truly enjoyed Mt. Huashan trip with him. He provided all the information with the day trip. He also has great patience. The car was very comfortable and clean. He arranged good quality water in advance. Also helped with all the tickets and other stuff required for the hike. He is a very good driver with knowledge of all local spots. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relief to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The plank road on the end was a great way to end the tour. The atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. Bruce was an excellent driver. He helped us choose the right hiking route for our skill set we chose to hike the harder direction to avoid the crowds. Bruce helped us buy the tickets at the counter and sent us on our way to the mountain. He was right where he promised he would be when we returned many hours later. NOTE: The price of this tour only includes the drive. You must bring additional money to pay for the tickets 2x bus rides, 2x cable car rides, mountain access and anything additional that you would like to purchase while on the mountain.

One of the best day trips we have ever been on, the tour company is a Xian based young couple with a family that went out of there way to make the tour an unforgettable experience. Starting with a pre tour meeting to go over the many options that are available on the day, booking the tickets on your selection, a very comfortable car drive to and from the mountain. All this at your pace , not having to wait for other. Worth the investment.

My boyfriend and I booked this tour to explore the mountain and experience the 'crazy board sky walk'. We loved every minute of this adventure! Our guide Bruce was great! He was very knowledgable and patient with us. We went there in mid August, the busiest time of the year, so we waited in long lines to get on the shuttle, and then gondola that takes you to one of the peaks. The mountain was crowded as well. We waited for 2 hours to do the board walk but it was well worth the wait! It was absolutely thrilling! We finished at dusk and by the time we came down it was dark. What a sight to behold at sunset! I definitely recommend this tour, but if you're going in August be prepared to stand in long lines and endure the heat of Chinese summer :

Bruce was a friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable tour guide for the private one day tour to Hua Shan which was beautiful. I would recommend if you're looking for a bit of nature to balance off the city tour / terracotta soldiers visit!
