We found this tour to be an invaluable source of information on the lives of this Zimbabwe people. We were freely encouraged to ask questions and came away with an increased knowledge of the simple beautiful but complicated life and the challenges they face.
Unfortunately an earlier time slot would allowed us to see more of the school but we were very warmly welcomed into a classroom and to speak with the teacher.
Our guide added to the whole experience with his invaluable knowledge and willingness to share.
Highly recommended this Village Tour for a realistic experience.

Be prepared to feel very privileged! We were picked up at our hotel and taken to one of the nearby villages. We were greeted by a village elder and given a guided tour of the rooms as well as answering all questions. We brought some school supplies for the children which were received with gratitude. We had plenty of opportunities to take photos and never felt we were intrusive. We also had the opportunity to buy some hand made crafts to support the community. Would 100 percent recommend this tour. If you choose this, you may also wish to take some solar lights, calculators etc as the village has no electricity.
