This is something that everyone should do when visiting this region of Africa. To see how the people live in the villages made such an impression on me…Americans are so privileged to have electricity, running water, abundant varieties of food and free schooling. The family who welcomed us to their village was so gracious to share their culture and lifestyle.

Loved sitting chatting with the head of the family and learning about family life in Zimbabwe. This trip is a real window on a different life, the positives and the very real difficulties such as crop failure.

This was an amazing experience! We loved this little village and the family we got to meet. It was humbling to see how little they have especially comparing to all we have. There were smiles and laughter and it was very educational. If you have money, candy, books etc to leave behind. It is very appreciated.

La actividad es muy muy cara para lo que se ofrece. Además, no se corresponde con la descripción (dicen que dura 3 horas y dura una y media, dicen que incluye botellas de agua y a nosotros no nos dieron nada...).
Espero que lo que hemos pagado llegue realmente a la familia que nos recibió, ya que ellos fueron muy amables.

Thank you for taking time to write this review. This tour its actually depends on you and we have clients that spend more than 3 hours since everything it will depends with our guest. We charge $50 for this tour and part of the money goes to the village. We really apologies for not providing water as the guide forget to give you water. For the benefit of our future clients this tour depends with guests, no rush in Africa

Noch ein kleiner Nachtrag von mir.
Von dem Geld für die Tour sehen die Dorfbewohner rein gar nichts. Man hat die Möglichkeit zusammen mit dem guide ein paar Sachen für die Bewohner zu kaufen oder ihnen Geld zu geben als Dankeschön. Eine wirklich tolle Geste, die jedoch nochmal zusätzlich 30usd gekostet hat. Es hat mich nicht gestört die sachen zu kaufen, aber schade finde ich, dass bei fast 50€für die Tour, nichts für die Bewohner übrig bleibt. Ich wurde zwar gefragt, ob es ok ist, dies und das einzupacken, aber da die Preise nicht in doller, sondern in der eigenen Währung dransteht, war es auch schwierig mirzurechnen. Gefahren sind wir auch max. 20min und die Tour ging insg 90min. Insg war es eine tolle Tour, jedoch insg auch recht teuer. Der guide übersetzt alles, aber erzählen tun alles die Dorfbewohner.

Der Fahrerführer fühlt sich tatsächlich in Sie hinein, dass es kein Muss ist, Dinge für diese Leute zu kaufen, Sie können es nur von Herzen tun. Wir glauben, dass Geben eine Herzensangelegenheit ist, und wir wissen Ihre Großzügigkeit zu schätzen. Der Grund, warum wir unsere Kunden auffordern, Dinge zu kaufen, wenn sie dies wünschen, ist, dass wir auf verschiedene Ereignisse gestoßen sind, bei denen unsere früheren Kunden sagten, Sie hätten uns sagen sollen, wir sollten Lebensmittel oder Schreibwaren kaufen.
