Our driver from Victoria...

Our driver from Victoria Falls to the border was excellent. He took extra precautions to make sure we arrived at the border just before the immigration office opened so that we wouldn’t face a long line at immigration and this process was extremely efficient and professional. The driver that we were transferred to in order to continue our transfer to Kasane airport was a total disappointment. He arrived 5 minutes late and with a flat tire and told us after he changed the flat tire that there were 3 additional passengers he was waiting for—but we had paid handsomely for a private transfer. We had a flight to catch in Kasane, but he dropped the other passengers off at their river cruise first. It was very anxiety-provoking as we didn’t arrive at the airport until 35 minutes before departure. We did make our flight, but did not appreciate the added anxiety for what should have been an uneventful transfer. Please explain how our private transfer was changed to a larger group without notifying us

The service you received fell well short of what we expect for our guests. Arriving late with a flat tyre is simply not acceptable, and we completely understand why this caused you real anxiety, particularly with a flight to catch. We'd also like to clarify one point regarding the booking itself. To keep our transfer rates competitive, we partner with Kasane-based operators, which helps us avoid the high border-crossing charges. Your booking, made via Viator, was for a shared shuttle service rather than a private transfer; a private transfer would have carried a higher price. That said, this in no way excuses what happened. Given that you had a flight to catch, you should have been prioritized and dropped off first, and our partner fell short on that occasion. We take this seriously and are addressing it directly with our Kasane partner to ensure this does not happen to future guests. Thank you again for your patience and understanding. We're relieved you made your flight despite the added stress, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
