Don’t go. Waste of money

Bus is filthy. No air conditioning and drivers did not know where we needed to get off to go on harbor cruise. Audio system does not work in many of the seats. We never got to go on harbor cruise. Worst hop on hop off bus we have ever been on.

I really enjoyed seeing areas around Malta, but getting to the bus was very confusing. I asked three different people and got three different answers. I think the bus routes should be shorter and more focused on areas that people want to see.

Don't go, it's poor with very little communication, rubbish commentary, no info on where to change buses, disinterested staff, no maps. Absolute waste of time.

Thanks for your feedback. The routes and maps are found on the brochure itself. There is also a QR code with our timetable.

Very disappointing!!

We were very disappointed in this excursion -- especially since we did not receive it after paying for it! I have tried several times to contact Viator about this, but receiving no response. I purchased this the night before and received confirmation and "tickets". What I did not know is that the actual tickets with a bar code were never sent to me -- even after being told by their customer service rep they would be. I had contacted the rep because there was no clear meeting point on the confirmation -- only "Grand Harbour". I was told someone would be outside the ship to point us in the right direction. After seeing no one there, we started asking the locals and other bus tour operators where to go. They sent us up an elevator to a wrong location and then back again. A different tour took pity on us and let us on their bus which turned out to be a disaster. Hour and a half waits between dropoffs in extreme heat and we never got our harbour cruise which we really wanted. We only went to Mdina and were so frustrated after that, we just went back to the ship. Trying to get a refund has been impossible.

Sorry to hear about this. Please do the harbour cruise and when you get the to the boat show them this message. It's located in Sliema opposite Marks & Spencer. Operates 3 times a day at 10:30, 12:30 & 2:45pm. Thank you

Overcrowded

Our booking stated we would receive our tickets via a email. We messaged the tour operator twice to get our tickets,no answer. We phoned 5 times and finally received the tickets the day after our event. We got on a bus the next day but no seats available so we stood for 3 stops until seats became available, then we hit a traffic jam that lasted for 2 hours before the next stop, so we got off.

Very dissapointing

I have purchased in other cities previously but found the service in Malta highly lacking. The website stated that hop on hop off incluced buses in Malta and gozo but this was not what we found. We had to pay for seperate ferries and buses on both islands in order to avail of the service at all and the times were extremly limted for peak season. An expensive and dissapointing lesson learned.
