Don't Get Cheated!

This service is dishonest. They contacted us late afternoon the day before the visit to Chichen Itza and said the government had unexpectedly closed it just that afternoon. We learned from a separate tour operator later that Chichen Itza had been closed for a full week prior. So this tour operator deceived us. They asked us if we would agree to a different tour. At first we accepted, but we changed our minds within about an hour. They refused to refund our money - and so did Viator. DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE CROOKS!

Ended up last minute changing to the cenote included trip. The chichikan cenote is worth a visit and is very refreshing after the heat of Chichen Itza. Guide Jerry was great and very knowledgeable. The site itself is very cool to see but it is crowded, hot, and there are so many peddlers. Be prepared for that.
