Never take a tour with this tour company

The guide did not show up to pick us up. We lost a whole day of our tour. The only thing viator would do id refund our money.

But we have rights and reasons to explain you about this inconvenience to you and for our potential future guest. In the morning on the day of the tour, our driver got unexpected accident. He got a flat tire. Early morning unfortunetaly a bit difficult for him to find a mechanic or a repair shop to help him to change the tire in the situation of rain too. We have inform you on WhatsApp about it and we try to call you many times but you haven't pick up the phone call. You also just read our message on WhatsApp and you didn't say anything. After a while you answer our phone call and RUDELY told us to cancel the tour. And it was only a 30-minute delay. You easily canceled the tour and said, "Never book with us again" in your one-star review. Does that make you feel victorious? Even though we already refunded your all money on viator. Do you think this is fair? Unfortunately, it isn't. You've left a very negative mark on Bali with your selfishness. Wish the GOD always protecting a negative person like you. Long day, but worth it

Be prepared for a very long day with badroads, and lots of traffic. But once you get there, it is a trip of a lifetime. I love the hot spring time we had and the cemetery was truly an amazing once in a lifetime, National Geographic type moment.

Don’t get me wrong. The tour guide was perfect but the tour is very short. For the money I paid (230$) we pass by hot springs but ticket was not included. If you want to go to see Trunyan cemetery better from Ubud.

This trip is a different experience to other tours in Bali. Widana has been a very knowledgable guide. Though I travelled solo, he made the trip fun and explained a lot about the local culture as well as the history of sites. We have seen the cemetery, the view of Mt Batur and lake from the restaurant, and visited a coffee plantation. It is worth adding the temple if you have time, Widana is very passionate about Hindu.

This tour was the highlight of my trip to Bali, the one I tell all my friends about. Trunyan Village Cemetery is fascinating enough in itself, but our tour guide, Wayan, really made the trip exceptional. Wayan had such a bright personality (especially for it being so early in the morning!) and he was so kind and knowledgeable. He answered every question that we had in detail, I learned so much about Balinese culture through speaking with him. He was prompt and on time, and I felt extremely safe during the entirety of the trip. We were able to take everything at our own pace. Wayan was genuinely excited to take us to Trunyan Village and his passion for the subject was palpable. He was also a fantastic and enthusiastic photographer! This excursion was very well organized and I enjoyed my time immensely. We added on the Mount Batur jeep ride which was so much fun. (My husband and I are bigger people and we were very comfortable in the jeep, there was plenty of space.) If you’re considering this tour… do it! It is a beautiful, thought provoking adventure that you will never forget.

A deeper look at the culture of Bali

For people who wish to have a deeper understanding of unique and beautiful Balinese culture, this tour is a must. Our driver to the boat launch, Wayan, was extremely warm and insightful- don’t miss the opportunity to have a profound conversation if you’re lucky enough to have him escort you to this sacred site. The journey alone is worthwhile, as you will be greeted with a view of Mount Batur that literally took my breath away. You are then treated to a boat ride across the crater lake to reach the cemetery. It is a peaceful place where you will learn about burial customs that do not exist anywhere else in the world. The experience I had here left a monumental impact on me. If this particular tour isn’t for you, make sure to check out the other packages baliprivatetour.id has to offer- I regret I didn’t have time to do the Mount Batur trek. Whatever the excursion, I have full confidence they will provide the most comfortable and engaging experience.

Our driver “We” was had an exceptional knowledge of the areas we visited and also along the way have us great insight into some traditions we saw along the way, especially with regards to a funeral procession we encountered. In regards to skull island and the preceding trip to the Trunyan Village I would recommend the Skull island part of the tour and the tradition behind it, however I would not recommend ladies going to Trunyan Village by themselves, in fact the village itself could be avoided and just go to the cemetery. In all though our tour was nice and informative, would definitely recommend these guys and this driver.

Widana/Wi was an amazing guide. He made sure we were comfortable the whole trip and provided an easy going environment for a jam packed day. His knowledge of each site we visited was amazing. And he spoke with the locals to provide us further information if we needed it. He was on time and allowed us the flexibility to spend however long we wanted at each site. Trunyan Island is a beautiful and haunting place to visit. Would definitely recommend this tour if you wanted to learn more about the local culture.

A wonderful experience, guided by Wayan Sudira. He made our day very memorable and we have lots of great memories and pictures (thank you for taking lots of pictures for us). I would highly recommend this excursion so that you can discover the real Bali that’s off the major tourist track. It was fascinating to discover how death is celebrated in other cultures and some great views in the area. The excursion also includes many other stops which aren’t mentioned in the description, but he will tailor things to your interests. The tour was an amazing and authentic experience that took us from the cultural area of Trunyan to the more common tourist destinations in Ubud. Seeing the bones in the cemetary and learning about the Trunyan culture was a particular stand out! Our tour guide Putu was very knowledgable and professional, and he customised the tour to our interests. The road to Trunyan is narrow and bumpy (as expected when travelling to a rural area) so just be prepared if you experience motion sickness. Would definitely reccomend!

Is a special trip that not everyone is eager for I guess. My wife works in funeral care and wanted to see this, Was a wonderful trip there and the lunch provided in a restaurant with fabulous views was more than exquisite.
