As it was raining throughout the day it was cold windy it was a good tour however the guide could have explained all details in the warmth of the car and then taken us to show
We stood in the rain while he explained this tour can be avoided if you are not used to the cold
The good time to visit is September October

Gogi was a great guide and driver. His history discussion at each location was the perfect amount. He also knows where great bakeries are.

Great private tour with Gogi. He was very knowledgeable with all of the sites and very patient with our child who enjoyed exploring the caves in Uplistsikhe.

This was a very nice tour, interesting and well balanced. First we went to the Jvari monastery, on the top of the mountain, amazing. Thereafter the ancient capital, Mtskheta and its beautiful and very well maintained monastery. Newt stop was Gori and the Stalin Museum, a must for people like me who are interested in history. The last stop was a visit to the Uflistsikhe caves and citadel, testimony of a very ancient civilization that inhabited that area. The stop in the wine cellar for a wine tasting was excellent to close the journey, and 7 hours after departure we arrived back to the hotel in Tbilisi. The guide (Gogita) was perfect, provided useful information along the whole tour and was a very good driver as well.

My guide, George was prompt, picked me up exactly when and where we arranged. He was very knowledgeable and engaging. At each stop, he gave an interesting history, highlighting what I should look for. He was fun to be with all day and made this truly a special memory that I will not forget. Now I want to return to Georgia so I can take more trips!

My tour guide from Georgia Tour Factory, Gogi picked me up from my hotel on time to take me on an amazing journey. It was not only the beautiful places we visited that made this tour special but it was also Gogi’s extensive knowledge of the stories behind the places we explored. Besides his engaging stories (background in Georgian History), Gogi was kind, attentive, and ready to give me a hand when we climbed into the caves of Uflistsikhe. I highly recommend this tour with Gogi and Georgia Tour Factory. Just make sure to come with very good quality shoes and readiness for some uphill climbing

While the weather was very windy and not optimum for touring, George made a very enjoyable experience. Was very nice to our son and overall quite nice to interact with.

Very well-paced tour, with enough time at each stop. Our driver-guide Giorgi was very friendly and informative; he gave us a thorough explanation while accompanying us on each of the stops. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience these sights at a good pace.

Really learned a lot about the start of Georgian Christianity thru our guide Gogi, who was really patient in answering all our inquiries.
Monasteries are really simple but solemn.

George was a friendly, informative guide who made sure that we had a great day. We liked that it was a private tour so we could move at our own pace. The car was very comfortable and George was an excellent driver. The tour had a nice combination of sights - we liked that it included the Stalin museum and the ancient cave town of Uplistsikhe. George didn't accompany us up to the top of Uplistsikhe which is perhaps understandable as it is a very strenuous climb, but doing it without a guide was tough as the signage is not good and it is difficult to know which tracks are the best to take. We didn't know what to expect and although we had water it wasn't enough for such a strenuous climb in 36 degree heat. There was no water available anywhere on the site, not even at the wine cellar, which was very dangerous in the extreme heat. We are pleased we visited Uplistsikhe as it was very interesting but I think a guide is needed for this, along with several litres of water on very hot days. George did a great job of showing us around the ancient town of Mtskheta and the Stalin museum; we enjoyed his stories and we never felt rushed. He is entertaining and informative and we can highly recommend him as a guide.

We had a truly memorable excursion with George! Of course, the scenery and the history of these places are amazing. But so is the storyteller - George has encyclopedic knowledge of Georgian history, history of the greater Caucasus region, geopolitical situation in the area during different time periods, and so forth. He is obviously extremely knowledgeable and communicates the information in a clear and accessible way. He was also very accommodating with some itinerary changes we requested. Overall, we had a fabulous experience! If I need another tour here, George will be the first person I will contact!

This is a private tour. It covers four sights, two on the Unesco list, and the fourth one should be. Stalin Museum is a very interesting sight as well. The best thing about the tour is the guide/driver (George). He is very knowledgeable about history, international politics, linguistics, etc. More importantly, he is friendly and he is excited to share his knowledge. We learned so much about the Georgian culture, history, and politics. We strongly recommend this tour and this guide.

An excellent trip from start to finish. All the different destinations visited were enjoyable and interesting. All credit to Gogi, the tour guide. He was friendly, helpful and very informative. The history and cultural context of the different places was well explained.
I particularly enjoyed Uflistsikhe, which although out of my comfort zone due to the hillside nature of the 'cave city', has to be experienced. Also Gori, due to its place as the birthplace of one of the most important and controversial persons of the twentieth century.
I would certainly recommend this tour.

It was fascinating to go to Stalin Museum in Gori and also explore Uflistsikhe caves etc, as well as Jvari and Mtskheta. My guide was great.
