Was notified twelve hours before the tour was to begin that it had been canceled. Alternatives were provided, but that is a lame alternative, especially as I had already toured or the dates were after after my departure.
Extremely inconvenient and compelled me to scramble to connive alternate plans VERY quickly and remain disappointed as Vardzia was near the top of the list for places in Georgia I wanted to visit (the exceedingly late notification afforded no opportunity for assembling an alternative plan). I even had to submit a refund request! Whole Viator resolved the request promptly I was annoyed by the need to squander my vacation time to tend to an issue I was completely unresponsible for and damaged my enjoyment of Georgia.
PS. I was not going to write a review, but Viator keeps emailing requests, so here you have it.

Overall, we enjoyed the places we saw, the driver was nice, he drove safely, and the vehicle was comfortable. That being said, it was unfortunate that our guide lacked leadership; we were constantly waiting for certain individuals, and the pace of the tour was slow. Indeed, while it was supposed to take 12 hours, it took us 15 hours - with a “lunch” at 5 p.m. He also lacked enthusiasm: he seemed bored by the tour, sat down on every occasion, gave superfluous information and answered our questions succinctly without going in-depth on any subject — barely any information was learned. In addition, questions asked and answered in Russian and English were never translated for the benefit of the group. Finally, he lacked professionalism: to be honest, he looked like he was on a date with one of the tourists, and seemed to be more interested in this date (and her friends) than the rest of the group.
While the concept, the structure and the organization of the tour were good, we felt that the delivery did not meet our expectations for the price of the tour.

Our guide Georgie was excellent, very professional, he had a lot of knowledge. Unfortunately, we had problems with our bus and had to change the car due to a breakdown. We lost a lot of time and couldn't complete the entire trip plan, so we had to give up visiting Rabati.

This was an absolutely excellent tour. We went in January and it was a small group of only 4 people. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and open to answering all of our questions. It was snowing in Borjomi and Vardzia which made the scenery particularly stunning. Even though there were some slippery steps at Vardzia due to the snow, our guide was great at helping us get around. Both locations were excellent to visit, I’d highly recommend this tour!

I have mixed feelings about this trip. Vardzia is a very interesting place and Rabati is also worth visiting. The other one is not worth it and I would skip it.
The company should have mentioned it would be a long day trip. They mentioned it would be a 12-hour trip but in the end, it took 14 hours.

This tour operator puts its customers at risk to their safety and doesn't even apologise.
Bus turned up 80 mins late, company lied and said it was due to traffic. We had a couple that used them the previous day who said the bus "broke down the day before" so we all knew that it was being repaired. It was clearly a dangerous vehicle, smashed windscreen, had broken suspension then it lost power on the highway. Steering seemed faulty too as the driver was swerving all over the road, even for a time driving on the shoulder.
The tour was cut short (Rabati castle missed completely), bus was swapped at Borjomi after hours of arguments between the guide and the company.
Both drivers were lunatics. 1st driver was speeding, 125 kph in a 110 zone. All the group feared for our safety, drivers overtook on blind bends where it was illegal (solid white lines) even in the dark with cows on the road he tried to overtake trucks, and constantly used phones while driving. 2nd driver was stopped by the police.
I've done tours in 30 countries and never feared for my safety like this.
The guide (who was a really nice guy) spent two hours speaking to the windscreen so nobody could hear him. I think the microphone on the 1st bus stopped working after an hour. He just gave up on the tour after the 1st hour and spoke to the 1st 3 rows of the bus only.
Bojormi we were dropped at the entrance, told to pay 5 Gel and that was all we got.
Rabait Castle missed completely
Vardzia caves were ok but there should be a warning that it's not possible for elderly and people with limited mobility as it's very difficult for some to get around
The "lunch" ended up being at 6pm and the food was not good.
I feel that this tour is a con. There's no way that it should be advertised as 12 hours, even on a good day it will never be that. Arriving back at 11pm (which ruined my evening as I should have been back at 8.30) was ridiculous.
But having said all that, I'm thankful that I arrived back with my life.

The day trip to Rabati, and Vardzia was excellent. The sites were very interesting. The guide did a great job juggling between the English and Russian speaking guests. Highly recommended.

This is truly a great way to see the gorgeous places in Georgia. The guide was one of the kindest and most well organised guide I’ve ever seen.
He took care of even small details such is getting the whole bus a unique treat (sweet bread)the driver was also fantastic.
The sights are beautiful, they are a long way - but this is all stated in the description.

The vehicle was in bad condition and broke down almost as soon as we started and we had to hang around on the highway for almost one and a half hours. The guides English was extremely poor and we could hardly understand a word he said.

The places were beautiful but our guide was not very pleasant. He got angry with me and kept telling me tu hurry up. Not the behaviour expected from a guide. Appalling.

Beautiful excursion!!!History of a vary unusual country with the great knowledge of our guide Ana.What Kapadocia in Turky has underground Vardzia has on the ground.You can have complitly differnet experience from other countries in Europe.

The tour guide did not seem to have enough level of English.
The tour was in Russian and English. I think this should be specifically clarified in advance that the guy will be talking the language that you do not understand and that he ia explaining much more information in russian than in English.
It did not seem that the tour guide did not habe enough knowledge about the topics of the tour. He waa not answering our questions, it was either I do now know or answering the questions that we did not even ask.
The timing was off. It was communicated 12h of tour while it was 14h.
The hole bussiness was oudated, USSR alike. There are much better companies in the market.

Very long day and travel in the tour bus but worthiest. Vandzia caves are not easy to go around, make sure you have proper shoes for this tour. The lunch restaurant is very good. Borjomi is a little disappointed because we arrive late so did not have the chance to spend a lot of time there.

My visit was excellent. I loved all the places we visited, Georgia is such a beautiful country! Out tour guide was very pleasant and spoke English fluently. I had a great time. I definitely would recommend this trip.

Places visited were interesting and worth seeing. Unfortunately the trip was a bit disappointing. The guide was very official and boring. We stopped for food at a very questionable place, kind of a place for truck drivers. Tours I had with other companies were much more interesting and fun, so wouldn't really recommend this one.

The place is outstanding and really worth going there! I can totally recommend the tour even though it could follow some improvements: the car was not really comfortable (too little place) and the other participants rather not suited for this kind of a trip (but it is not the responsability of the organiser, of course!).

Russian and English speaking tourists were combined in one tour ! the tour guide had to keep translating. The bus was so uncomfy, the driver was driving so fast and like crazy, the tour guide had a looooww voice that I had to ask him many times to raise his voice because I couldn't hear him. The tour operator is not that good, but the views and places you're going is worth it.

EXTREMELY uncomfortable bus. Very very tide space. We were not informed that we will get back to Tbilisi at midnight and we had other plans that we needed to cancel as well as we will very hungry when we got back.

The tour was good, it was a 14 hour round trip. We especially enjoyed seeing the Vardzia caves which was a highlight of the tour. It was interesting to see Borjomi but we felt we were there too long just to taste water.
