Disappointed that tour to the village did not include a tour, we were placed in our seats 1o minutes before the show . Tour guide was great but advertised of tour is incorrect,

We understand how it may have felt rushed arriving shortly before the 45-minute cultural performance and then returning to the bus afterward, particularly if you were anticipating a more in-depth guided village tour.
The timing of our visit is coordinated around the scheduled performance, with a comfort break included before rejoining the bus. That said, we truly appreciate your comments regarding how the experience is described, and we are reviewing our listing on Viator to ensure the inclusions are communicated as clearly as possible so expectations are aligned.
We would also like to highlight that on your tour, the guide — who is a Kaumātua (an elder from the local area) — chose to take your group on a special visit to his own Māori marae. This is not something offered to general tourists, as it is a genuine, working marae rather than a commercial attraction. This was intended as a meaningful and authentic cultural experience, and a privilege not usually accessible to visitors.

Long ride from the port. Very rustic setting and show. The guides live in the village so are very knowledgeable. We'll worth the time and price.
