Nice Guide, But Disappointing Tour

While our guide was super nice and we learned some new things, we were expecting a food tour where you ate more local foods. This wasn't it. We made a stop at a coffee shop, had a cup of miso in a shop where anyone could have a cup of miso, tasted sake in a shop where anyone could taste the sake and tried one type of sesame snack food. We had intentionally skipped breakfast because we thought we'd be eating like on other food tours we'd gone on in other countries, where there was more substantial food. The guide also took our photo at the bridge coming into the old town and said it would be emailed to us, but we never received anything. So a bit disappointing for the price.
