The Go Sydney Shuttle worked perfectly. Alex was there to pick us up at the cruise terminal and take us to our hotel. The company communicated with us when we had questions in a timely manner. I highly recommend this company and Alex.

Easy pickup by Edward with Go Sydney Shuttle sign, and very smooth, timely transport to hotel at Sydney Harbour Quay.
The Go Sydney Shuttle worked perfectly. Alex was there to pick us up at the cruise terminal and take us to our hotel. The company communicated with us when we had questions in a timely manner. I highly recommend this company and Alex.
Great service! Driver got us from port to Hotel safely and quickly. This enabled us to get out and see more places on a limited time schedule.
Great service and safe driiver delivered us to the hotel. Pleasant driver provided area information.
Great and on time, easy to communicate and prompt at responding! I would go with them again for future trips.
We have been travelling since December 11 and on December 29, we were attempting to leave a cruise ship and go to our hotel for the remainder of our trip of 10 family members,
I placed an order for 2 vans to hold 5 people each. We reported on multiple communications that we had 2 - 3 pieces of luggage per person. And, I reported repeatedly in communications that several people were fairly large people with some difficulty walking.
So, my goal was to provide a very comfortable ride for all of my family of 10 people and to accommodate the luggage issues.
The pick up time was to be at 10 a.m. The van arrival after multple request for an ETA, was 10:27 a.m. The cruise terminal was trying to get us to go outside and wait while they prepared for incoming visitors.
The Go Sydney Tour company decided to switch our ride from TWO VANS for 5 people to ONE van that was supposed to hold 12 people. It did not hold my 10 family members comfortably. And, the driver insisted in adding an eleventh person who was not going to our destination.
So I was forced to hire an Uber and send 3 of my family members separately to the Four Seasons Hotel.
When I complained to the tour operator, he argued that the van was permitted to be combined without any notice and that it was a shared van for 12 people and "sorry everyone was not comfortable". I was charged for two vans at $105 each.
When I reported my dissatisfaction to the headquarters, they told me they are permitted to combine 2 separate reservations without notice and that the terms were ONE piece of luggage person.
Further the person stated I should have been charged extra due to the fact that I had more than 1 bag person and basically, I am lucky I did not get that extra charge.
I paid $210 total and I paid Uber an additional $25 to get my family members to the hotel. I requested a refund or at least a discount on one of the two vans and was promptly told NO and feel free to write a review that they will be compelled to address.
So, that is my review. Of the 14 different Viator rides/tours that I have booked on my current trip, this one has been disappointing to say the least. The rest have been pleasant and worth booking through Viator.
I still have 4 more events for the remainder of my travel. 3 of them are transportation requests to the airport and I don't want to experience the same disregard for my specific requests that are always very clear upon making the reservations as well as well planned communications with the tour operators.

This booking was for a shared shuttle service, which is a lower-cost option than a private transfer. The expectations described relate to a private transfer, which was not booked or paid for.
Despite the group arriving with far more luggage than the 1-suitcase-per-person allowance stated on the voucher, everyone was transported and no excess luggage charges were applied, although they normally would be.
As this is a shared shuttle, passengers may have different destinations. Some members of the group chose to leave earlier for a tour, which was unrelated to the shuttle service. There were sufficient seats available at all times.
The service was delivered as booked.
Most of the group was lovely; unfortunately, one individual’s expectations did not align with the shared service selected.
Not used because 3 hrs waiting plus very overpriced. Port-hotel only 18 miles. I hope my two scheduled tours are with a more serios operator. Thanks

This review is misleading.
Prior to arrival, the guest confirmed that she would be disembarking at 10:00 am and the shared shuttle was scheduled accordingly. On the day, she disembarked at 7:00 am and requested immediate pickup. Shared transfers operate on fixed schedules and cannot depart early on demand. The next available service was within 20 minutes, not 3 hours.
Pricing is clearly displayed at the time of booking. If the price or service type is unsuitable, we recommend not proceeding with the booking.
Perfect
Arrived on time
Clean mini van
Driver was professional and very courteous
Would definitely recommend this company
They kept telling me that I put down the wrong dock for pick up. Tell you the truth I pay little attention to this and really was not aware where we were docking. This frequently changes. Not sure why you didn't know where the ship would dock in Sydney - not like there were a lot of ships that day. In any case I changed to the personal pick up and it was ok. But the charges to go about 5 blocks were crazy. Seriously if you don't want to pick someone up and take them to a hotel that is close - do not offer it. If I was younger, I would have walked. This has not happened on previous pickups using Viator. I am disappointed.

Thank you for your feedback. We’d like to clarify that all pricing and pickup details are fully transparent at the time of booking, and we encourage customers to review these carefully to ensure the service aligns with their expectations and budget. If the cost of a short-distance transfer feels too high, it may be best not to book, as prices are set in advance and visible before checkout.
Regarding the pickup location, it’s important to note that Sydney has two cruise ports—Overseas Passenger Terminal (Circular Quay) and White Bay Cruise Terminal—which are located in completely different parts of the city. Because of this, the distance to the hotel and the fare can vary significantly depending on which port the ship uses. This is why we rely on the docking information provided by the customer. When the wrong port is given, it makes coordinating the transfer difficult and can affect the logistics and cost.
We’re glad the personal pickup ultimately worked out, but double-checking port details and selecting a service that matches your needs is the best way to avoid any issues.
Thank you again for sharing your experience.
This is the first NEGATIVE review I am sharing for both the service provider Go Sydney Shuttle and also Viator. I have been back and forth with email and chat with the tour operator and Viator to no avail. I made screen shots of all the chats and emails that have transcribed - as I always do in case I need to review..and in this case this practice with any service chat has come in handy. We are a group of professional senior citizens, all 70 y.0 and above but mobile ( 2 physicians, 1 nurse practitioner (me and I do the bookings for the group), 1 pharmacist, 2 accountants, 2 businessmen), One of our friends has disability and need bilateral arm crutches though he walks strongly with them. We have travelled extensively and I have used Viator often. We were on the 21 day Celebrity Edge cruise from Honolulu, disembarking in Sydney on Oct 21. Since there are 8 of us with total of 21 luggages..I made TWO separate bookings on Viator, 4 adults each, I communicated with Go Sydney exactly how many luggages we have and they charged us $50 additional with the luggage which I paid directly to them. It should have been a red flag because initially they sent me a payment link right away which I did not use except for the $50 since I booked using PayPal - this way my credit card is known only to PayPal. I verified our transfer and Go Sydney replied that we will be picked up in 2 VANS OR ONE BIG BUS. I initially booked for an 8-8:30 AM pick up because we planned to do a Hop ON Hop Off immediately after drop off in our hotel since we had only OE day in Sydney before boarding the next cruise the next day from Sydney to Singapore with Celebrity.
About 2 days prior to disembarkation we were given our schedule of disembarkation according to our cabin luggage tags. Ours was not until 8:05 am., I immediately notified Go Sydney Shuttle that we need to change our pick up to 9:30 -10AM because we will need time to go through immigration, collect our bags (21) and clear customs. They initially did not respond and I had to repeat on chat and email ..ask them to confirm we can make the change or else I would need to cancel and find another service provider. I even contacted Viator to say I have not received a response. Only then did Go Sydney Shuttle respond and confirm.
On disembarkation day..Celebrity arrived earlier and disembarkation was earlier too and faster. I notified Go Sydney to say we are earlier and can we be picked up earlier too. The chat said around 9 AM. We met with Go Sydney rep Alex outside and initially said they have other bookings and later said pick up will arrive in 10 minutes. It took longer..and that is understandable so we waited.
The crux of this bad experience...Go Sydney Shuttle instead of sending TWO vans per our reservation or one big bus sent ONLY ONE VAN and packed all 8 of us like SARDINES in that ONE VAN..filled up every space available inside the van with the handcarry. I was seated in the 2 seater row behind the driver that had a BABY CARRIAGE ( the driver did not remove), our disabled friend on crutches whose left leg needed to stretch out when seated was squeezed into a seat with no leg room to stretch. I took pictures of how packed we were inside the van and video and sent to Go Sydney and Viator to NO AVAIL. Yes we got to our hotel...BUT I booked the transfer not Uber because of our group size, luggages, we wanted to be comfortable so I made TWO reservations.
When I asked for a refund for the missing second van..the answer from GO Sydney and Viator in essence was WE GOT TO OUR DESTINATION!!! Yes we did but in those appalling condition.
The driver spoke a different language and that's ok. When I and my husband first spoke to him when he arrived...NO GOOD MORNING and when I asked why there is only one van,,the answer "JUST GO THERE" no explanations, no courtesy and simply started jam packing our luggage into any available space. He got a call from his office who must have told him about the chat and pictures I sent Go Sydney...and he announced " TERESA DO NOT MAKE TROUBLE!!!!"
Now you understand why this is the worst and regrettable experience for all 8 of us.
UNFORTUNATELY Viator who I was in contact with all this time AGREED with GTo Sydney that service was delivered. We were not in a remote country, this was Sydney..and that kind of "packed like sardines" service especially with 2 reservations paid for is not acceptable. Viator despite emails and pictures agreed to no refund. Very disgusted and disappointed with both Go Sydney Shuttle especially and Viator for NOT advocating for their customers.
I have a video of our condition inside the van but unfortunately cannot upload in this review but the attached picture show how even the small space next to the sliding van door was filled.
Easy to find shuttle bus. He approached us as we looked confused and confirmed we were on that shuttle. Packed up our suitcases and we waited for two more couples to arrive. We were the 1st drop off
Super easy to communicate with Sydney Shuttle, they were prompt, rude was easy and convenient.. would definitely use them again.
The drive was very nice and friendly. He came on time as we choose. He also provided us some interesting place to visit.
Thank you for being precisely on time and exactly where you said your Driver would be. When traveling abroad it reduces the stress when you see your driver exactly where your instructions said he would be. The driver was extremely professional and very helpful. The vehicle was spotless.
The Go Sidney Shuttle was on time, if not a bit early and the driver was courteous, friendly and provided suggestions for locations and activities to visit. Will definitely use again should our travels bring us to Sydney, Australia in the future.
Friendly and informative driver. Communicating with office was prompt and informative. Prices very good.
Our driver Edward was great. Ready & waiting when we got off the ship
He even was a tour guide with interesting facts.
We had a great driver who was funny! They were easy to communicate with when questions came up. Easy to find after you clear cruise ship terminal.
Driver was courteous and helpful. A perfect experience. On time and friendly. Driver was able to tell us about Sydney and environs.
Driver texted us frequently to keep us updated on details of the pickup. He was polite and the shuttle was clean.
Our shuttle driver was on time, actually early and very friendly and willing to answer any questions we had for him.
Easy to locate. Then driver waited addition 25 mins for others that didn’t arrive
Finally departed after authorities insisted!
Timely, reasonable transportation to the Sydney airport with a friendly, safe driver in a clean, new vehicle.
He got us to the hotel without any problems. The driver now the city, He was nice to all of us. Got all luggage into the van.
Waited for us to get through customs, keeping in touch with me by text. Friendly and on time. Driver was a bit of a crazy driver. Getting closer to other cars, honking at people and had to slam on the brakes a couple times to keep from hitting cars are running red lights. It was a bit tense.
It was a wonderful ride through the city to our hotel. The city skyline is so beautiful. The driver was safe and efficient.
We left our cruise ship early and the taxi company arranged our driver immediately. Very helpful. The driver was helpful with various tips on attractions and directions.
A great experience. Timely and attentive service by the shuttle operator. We would recommend this transfer to others.
Driver communicated with us on arrival times and location. He found us and gave us a bit of a tour to our hotel. He was friendly and prompt.
Driver had sign and met us and 2 other couples we did not know and took us to our hotel. End of story.
