Everything in our tour was great, probably one of the most beautiful experiences ever! Our drivers were amazing, cautious and really kind. Our guide Laz was great, extremely caring and helpful, he told us so many interesting things during our tour and made the experience amazing! He always gave us plenty of time to enjoy the views and even brought a mat for us to sit on while waiting for the sunrise. If you take the tour ask for him, he was the best guide we ever had!

Amazing experience with the best guide ine could ask for, very friendly, helpful and good with a camera, probs to Mr.Laz.
Be in mind, its a long trip and it will take a while till you are back, howevers its more than worth it.

We had a great time with our guide, Wardah, for our trip to see Mt Bromo. She was very funny, helpful and knowledgeable and we enjoyed her guidance for the entire trip. The tour went super smooth. She even showed up early to pick us up. Each step of the journey was made easy and she found us an amazing spot to capture photos of Bromo for sunrise. Unlike some other tours, this trip was all inclusive of entrance fees. This made it even better of a package deal. We got to ride in a retro FJ40 Landcruiser up the mountain. That was fun. The drivers were friendly and skilled. Complementary breakfast afterwards at the company’s Lava Cafe was great too. These guys know what they are doing and have a professional operation from beginning to end. Thank you!

Our guide Riza was simply brilliant. We have taken many trips in our life, but we have never met such a nice and attentive guide. He chose the best place for us to watch the sunrise, because the observatory was really crowded. He advised us how to take the best photos of Bromo and so on. He was just great

Our tour guide - Ubay - was fantastic. The best tour guide we have ever had! Also had excellent English which made things a lot easier.
We started the tour promptly at 11:30pm where we were picked up by Ubay and his driver in a nice modern car for our private tour for 2. The seats were reclined backwards in case we wanted to sleep. He also checked that we had brought warm clothes with us as it can get to around 3degrees and windy at the top of the viewpoint. (I highly recommend you bring a warm jacket, trousers/baselayer, a scarf or facemask for the dust, and possibly a hat. We are from a cold country, and even for us it felt chilly. Also, be prepared to get dusty). We were also given some free bottled water.
We drove around 1hrs30mins to the 4x4 collection point where we changed to the Original 4wd Toyota Land Cruiser (and experience on its own). It was a slightly bumpy but still comfortable journey for another hour.
We parked the car up at viewpoint, and hung around a very nice cafe where the guide paid for lovely coffees, noodles and banana fritters for us (even if we had to pay, this place were not overcharging - their prices were fantastic even by Indonesia standards). We chilled for an hour or two here. It started to get really busy after the 1st hour, but as we were here early we had seats and were comfortable. We also did not need to queue for anything as Ubay knew the owners well and served us himself.
We then set off early from the cafe (as others were still queueing for food/drink). There was a short 5-10min walk to the view point. We had arrived first so had the best spot. Ubay had even put out a large blanket for us to sit on (no other tour guides had done this). We sat there for about 1.5hrs to watch the sunset over the volcano, our guide also grabbed us some hot chocolate to keep us warm. Truely an amazing experience watching the sunrise over the horizon and onto the Volcanoes. After a few moments we moved backwards as it dawned on us how high up we were...
We headed back down to the Land Cruiser, and drove down to the crater car park where we took some photos. We actually decided not to go to the crater rim on this occasion for personal reasons - but we were already very happy with what we had done. We then headed towards the buffet breakfast place, had a decent meal and back to the hotel.
Overall, it was a great tour with an even greater guide! Absolutely not to be missed.
Ubay is a credit to his company, and we thoroughly enjoyed our day. Thank you!

The late-night departure is a small price to pay for one of the best experiences you'll ever have. Having traveled all around the world, I can say that the sunset over Bromo and Semeru is the most breathtaking view you will ever witness.
A special thanks to Els, an exceptional guide with the best English we've encountered in Indonesia. He is a truly wonderful person, very kind, amazing photographer and will go above and beyond to ensure you get the best spot for the sunrise.
Just a tip: if you're prone to motion sickness, bring some medicine with you, as the ride can be quite rough!

Our guide, Pram made this such a wonderful tour. It felt like we got to spend time with a friend, playing UNO as we waited for the sunrise. She brought us to all the best spots that weren’t too crowded, and helped us get great pictures. She also gave us local recommendations for later near our hotel. She is wonderful and it was a pleasure learning about Indonesian culture from her while enjoying beautiful scenery! Looking into the crater (and smelling!) was an incredible experience.

The guide Ms. Elvira was friendly, spoke English well, and explained stories and background to the area. It is a long journey, but well worth it. Despite the mountain being full (school holidays, weekend, non rainy season) we managed to get the perfect spot due to our guide. She was well prepared and gave a plastic cover to sit on (so our clothes wouldn't get dirty on the turf). The view was stunning, and it was perfect. But bear in mind the air on the mountain is thin, and even as a regular gym going person, you will feel this thin air letting you get out of breath easily. The stairs to the vulcano itself were steap but had resting spots along the way.
We didn't take the horse up to the certain point but if we would do it again, we would take the horse on the way to the vulcano.
Only thing that wasn't very nice was the breakfast place, food quality could have been better.

This was probably one of the best experiences we've had. Our guide Oni was amazing, he told us a lot of things about life in Indonesia and we chatted a lot about life. He took us to get some great coffee that really managed to keep us awake, and we had the best spot to see the sunrise. There's some climbing involved but it made it all worth it. The whole experience was seamless and just overall a once in a lifetime thing. We also had a great driver who turned out to be a great photographer. Book Oni if you can, he's the best!

First time getting close to a volcano which was quite exciting. The tour operator did a good job picking us up on time and ensuring we had a safe trip. We had very good drivers for the 2 legs of the trip driving at night and in challenging terrain. The tour operator should ensure he has the contact numbers for the drivers so he can communicate and coordinate with them directly to ensure delays are minimum. He should also share freely more information about the volcano - it’s history, material composition, statistics etc. It was overall a very good tour and I recommend it!

Very beautiful view. Getting there early helps beat a lot of the crowd. Had an awesome tour guide as well. Would recommend to anyone who is in the area to go and check it out. Photos don’t do it any justice, especially when the sun starts coming up.

No habíamos visto nada igual y nos encantó. Increíble paisaje tanto del Sunrise point como del crater del Bromo. El guía que nos acompañó fue muy amable con nosotros, así como los conductores. Pudimos hacer unas fotos preciosas.
Como malo diría que creo que la actividad empieza demasiado pronto, ya que al final estuvimos esperando 1h30min en el Sunrise Point y pasamos mucho frío.

Cette excursion a été une très belle expérience ! Notre guide parlait très bien anglais et avait une joie de vivre communicative. Nous avons été pris en charge à notre hôtel vers 23h30. Puis nous avons roulé vers le mont Bromo. Nous sommes arrivés là-bas tôt avant le lever du soleil. Nous avons eu le droit un petit déjeuner local offert qui était vraiment très bon ! Ensuite, nous sommes partis pour le point de vue du lever de soleil. La vue était vraiment imprenable, et notre guide nous a réalisé des photos dignes d’un photographe professionnel ! Et il le fait avec un enthousiasme impressionnant ! Nous sommes ensuite allés au cratère, puis nous avons pris quelques photos dans la plaine avec la jeep. Nous sommes allés au restaurant avec notre guide et c’était très bon ! Nous avons vraiment passé une très belle journée, et cette excursion est vraiment un gros plus à ne pas rater sur l’île de Java.
