A truly wonderful experience. Super communication and everything was well planned and ran smoothly. Bromo and the waterfall are absolutely magical places and having a private trip means you can control the speed and time you want to spend ij the different places. Our guide, Alex, was amazing. She made the trip even better, feeling more like a friend than a guide. Great conversation and she was happy to help out in any way she could during the whole day. Highly recommend her as your guide if you can! Thanks Alef and all the other staff for a magical day!

Bring layers becuase you go from cold in the morning at top of MT Bromo to warm later the same morning. Experience was excellent and our guide Via was amazing. A lot of trekking/ walking but I loved every second of the tour. 10/10 rating book now

The 14-hour round trip begins at midnight and is an adventure in itself. It involves long drives, multiple modes of transportation (car, jeep, and motorcycle, or even horseback if you choose to ascend Bromo that way), and a dramatic shift in weather conditions. You'll need to dress for the cold (~8°C) while waiting for sunrise, prepare for the midday heat (~30°C) while hiking to the waterfall, and, if you're traveling during the wet season (February–May), be ready for occasional tropical rain—a raincoat is essential unless you don’t mind getting completely drenched.
Yet, despite all these challenges, this was one of our favorite day trips in Java, and we highly recommend it.
Our guide, Pak Nadal, and driver, Pak Ricky, were punctual, patient, polite, and highly professional. The sunrise over Bromo was breathtaking, even though clouds obscured the soft blue sky that would have made it even more spectacular. The gaping crater of Mount Bromo was an awe-inspiring sight—its roaring sound and distinct sulfurous scent made the experience even more immersive.
And finally, Madakaripura Waterfalls were simply stunning—an unbelievable natural wonder.

We had the most amazing experience on the Bromo Adventure Tour, and our guide Nadal really made the trip unforgettable! He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed every moment. He shared so much interesting information about the area.
The car and jeep drivers were also fantastic, even though we can’t remember their names. They were pros at navigating the tricky terrain, and we always felt safe and comfortable with them. The whole team worked together seamlessly, and you could tell they were really dedicated to making sure everything went smoothly.
From start to finish, the tour was perfectly organized, and the sunrise at Mount Bromo was absolutely breathtaking – a memory we’ll cherish forever. If you’re planning to visit Surabaya, this tour is a must-do, and I can’t recommend Nadal and the team enough!

Excellent experience amazing guide and driver. Bromo was spectacular but so was the waterfall they said it’s the second waterfall but no one was there which made it so special and I looked at the bigger one and it seemed less impressive. Definitely worth doing!!

The experience is incredible regardless with whom you do it with!
Given that I have travelled alone, I would have valued a better understanding in advance on what everything entailed (did not particularly enjoyed being treated as "just another one"). The strategy to get away from the crowds and traffic worked but honestly, the waterfall in a "temporarily closed" park was just a tourist trap.
